Rise Against Hunger is an ever-growing global movement with the goal of ending world hunger and poverty by empowering communities and responding quickly to emergencies.

Our mission is to increase the percentage of learners who write the final pure Mathematics exam in Grade 12 in South Africa to 60%. These learners are to obtain at least a 50% pass mark. This will improve their vocational prospects and afford them many more career paths in the future. This will, in turn, produce a robust workforce with a variety for the South African economy to choose from, thus providing a sustainable solution to the unemployable youth crisis. The result will be a growing economy with a population that produces an ever-increasing buying power.

Advancing Women in Investing (AWI) is a collaborative of more than 100 first-time and emerging female capital movers investing in emerging and frontier markets. Our long-term goal is to create a movement of change to democratize access to funding and opportunity for female investment vehicles managers (IVMs). Female investment professionals represent only 8% of all senior positions in venture capital and private equity firms in Africa and when then they strike out on their own, they struggle to raise capital. AWI was initially founded as a discussion group over WhatsApp to provide support and networking opportunities for members on the journey to start and raise capital for investment vehicles focused on sub-Saharan Africa. The organization has expanded its geography to include emerging markets in Africa, Asia and the Middle East and now helps to unlock channels to capital, skill building, tools and other resources that are currently very limited in the market. We accelerate the development and growth of these talented women to ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the investing ecosystem.

The team ensures to provide information that is within the best interest for individuals to become sustainable entrepreneurs. The PCYD team aims to focus on the well-being of individuals by being a support system and providing continuous encouragement and motivation that is lacking in many households, while we can create healthy mindsets. Growth within upskilling community Individuals create start-ups and or prepared for employment Increase local networking The PCYD team envisions for the project of upskilling the community to exponentially grow. The short-term objective would be to increase the quantity of life with the local community. The long-term objectives involve gaining a greater capacity to provision for individuals in various areas. The ultimate and overall goal is to ensure that the community and people become employed and the overall life of the community is uplifted within the area. The idea is to focus on local growth among small and medium-sized entrepreneurs (SME'S), which we hope to result in an increase of local collaborations and furthermore increase the activity of local networking. We plan to introduce collaborations by having guests within the various industry, who can share their business experiences and provide knowledge and guidance join us yearly. The aim of having guest speakers is to also encourage the community to create positive awareness, to believe that there are possibilities available and also become motivated by stories shared. The company focuses on a broad spectrum, diving into the manufacturing process of a product, explaining the concepts of a production line and to calculate the ratio and time it takes to make up a garment. The company approaches both patterns and sewing of the garment (garment construction) to give a full view of the start to finish process. financial breakdown in terms of material costs, labour, hour ratings shall be explained to aid with mentees business growth and better understanding how profit is made. At the end of the day mentees will understand how much it will cost to make up a garment, hours it takes and profit they gain. The program set up is effective for short term and long term gains, the participant can become a supplier, self-employed, entrepreneurs and join a network of ongoing learning.

Edufundi's MISSION aims to unlock the potential of our children by promoting quality education in primary schools through teacher mentorship and support. We know that education in South Africa is currently in crisis. Our very committed and experienced team is working to change this so that all of our teachers - and in turn the children they teach - can indeed achieve their full potential.
