After-school programs are essential for low-income children and teenagers, and martial arts can significantly contribute to their growth. We are dedicated to offering children year-round stability and consistency through our programs, focusing not just on their physical transformation, but also on fostering positive friendships, mentorship opportunities, and a secure environment during challenging times.

OAR is a community-based nonprofit organization that envisions a safe & thriving community where those impacted by the legal system enjoy equal civil & human rights. Through our Upstream work, we are confronting & dismantling individual racism & racism in the legal system & across all systems. Our Downstream work allows us to be on the journey with individuals returning from incarceration & their families. We also offer alternative sentencing options (including community service) and diversion programs so people can avoid the trauma of incarceration & instead help the community thrive.

HopeWay is making HOPE tangible by inspiring mental wellness for all. We strive to be a premier leader of mental health services by providing holistic care, grounded in science, while building awareness and acceptance through education.

A Precious Child assists children and families facing difficult life challenges such as abuse and neglect, crisis situations and poverty. We work with more than 400 agency partners throughout eight Denver Metro counties [Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson and Weld] to identify children and families in the most need of our services. Our core initiatives help build the whole child. In addition to meeting basic human needs through our Resource Center and Boutiques (satellite resource centers), we also help children and their families navigate community resources. This work is done through our COR (Child Outcomes Resource) Center where our Child Outcomes Advocates provide personalized case management to disadvantaged and displaced children and families, connecting them with needed resources, services, opportunities and educational support. Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.While medical technology and treatments have allowed the children we serve to lead longer lives, we continue to strive towards our ultimate mission of fulfilling a wish for every child diagnosed with a critical medical condition in Los Angeles County. Our goal is to be a unique part of the treatment process. While doctors provide the medicine, Make-A-Wish supplies the magical experience that helps our courageous wish children thrive. What makes the wish experience even more extraordinary is that it enriches the lives of all involved, from the children and their families, to the volunteers and sponsors, and often entire communities.
