The core belief behind HeadCount is that the live music community is a large, vibrant audience that has the potential to be politically influential if properly represented at the polls. HeadCount uses the assets of the music industry and the incredible influence artists have over their fans to mobilize this audience into action. Stretching beyond just registering voters, HeadCount also aims to become "the community organizing arm of the live music scene," giving every socially conscious music fan an avenue toward activism.

The ACLU Foundation of Southern California's (ACLU SoCal) mission is to ensure that all persons are afforded the equality, liberty, and justice guaranteed to them in the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Through our integrated approach of community education, advocacy, and litigation, we challenge unconstitutional and unjust policies and practices. We most often serve those whose rights are consistently denied or compromised including students, women, prisoners, immigrants, communities of color, LGBTQ people, members of minority religions, people with disabilities, individuals experiencing homelessness, and economically disadvantaged people. ABOUT THE BORIS LAWRENCE HENSON FOUNDATION (BLHF) As the pioneering Black mental health advocacy group in the US, the BLHF provides access to localized and black-culturally competent therapy resources sourced through a network of clinicians, service providers, counselors, and thought leaders. The foundation is named in honor of Boris Lawrence Henson, father of Academy Award and Emmy-nominated actress and founder Taraji P. Henson, who suffered mental health challenges without resources or support. Founded in 2018, within a short time, BLHF has built its reputation on the promise of providing trusted referrals and demonstrating a deep understanding of the population health of communities of color. Through timely and relevant programming and awareness campaigns, it is the hope that mental health will become a known quantity within Black communities, helping the Foundation to achieve a critical mass of Black self-care advocates and allies nationwide. Through a myriad of corporate partnerships, BLHF encourages mental wellness; raises awareness of the stigma and the use of stigmatizing language when referring to mental illness; provides mental health resources and support, offers scholarships to Black students who seek a career in the mental health field; extends mental health services to young people in underserved schools and communities, combats recidivism and supports re-entry for returning citizens. The Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation is charting a new course that encourages Black individuals to own their history, heritage, and collective wounds in empowering, empathic, and transformative ways.

CARE is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. We place special focus on working alongside poor women because, equipped with the proper resources, women have the power to help whole families and entire communities escape poverty. Women are at the heart of CARE's community-based efforts to improve basic education, prevent the spread of HIV, increase access to clean water and sanitation, expand economic opportunity and protect natural resources. CARE also delivers emergency aid to survivors of war and natural disasters, and helps people rebuild their lives.

We fulfill our mission by providing the mothers and children with a safe and nurturing environment and comprehensive social services." Miriam's House was formerly known as Promises Foundation.

TransSOCIAL, Inc.'s mission is to expand safe and affirming resources for our Trans, gender expansive and Intersex community. We are Trans-led and provide direct services including legal name and gender marker change assistance, ID updates, affirming medical and mental health referrals, peer support groups and social events, and TLGBQ+ Cultural Sensitivity Training to businesses and organizations to help them create safe spaces for our community.
