Seva Mandir's mission is to make real the idea of society consisting of free and equal citizens who are able to come together and solve the problems that affect them in their particular contexts. The commitment is to work for a paradigm of development and governance that is democratic and polyarchic. Seva Mandir seeks to institutionalise the idea that development and governance is not only to be left to the State and its formal bodies like the legislature and the bureaucracy, but that citizens and their associations should engage separately and jointly with the State. The mission briefly, is to construct the conditions in which citizens of plural backgrounds and perspectives can come together and deliberate on how they can work to benefit and empower the least advantaged in society.

DOMINE is feminist, non-governmental, non-profitable organization, established in 2002 with a purpose of promoting women's rights and encouraging development of civil society. Organization's basic activities are education, video production, publishing, public campaigns and direct counseling and support. Domine acts regularly on: economical and political women's empowerment, advocacy of gender mainstreaming policies implementation and politics of equal opportunities, prevention of violence against women in all forms, promoting prevention of sexual and reproductive women's rights, direct legal, psychological and medical support to women, raising awareness of media responsibility regarding women's rights promotion, researching women's past/history of Split and Dalmatia, cooperation and networking with feminist and civil society organizations on local, national and international level, publishing and development of the first feminist library in Split and Dalmatia, media visibility of civil society, capacity strengthening of civil society organizations, cooperation of civil society organizations and local government units with a common goal of democracy promotion and the quality of life in society, stimulating of social entrepreneurship and self-financing.

To act as a leading organisation and a global voice for the rights of those who face discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and/or sex characteristics (SOGIESC). 2. To work towards achieving equality, freedom and justice for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex people through advocacy, collaborative actions, and by educating and informing relevant international and regional institutions as well as governments, media and civil society. 3. To empower our members and other human rights organisations in promoting and protecting human rights, irrespective of people's sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and/or sex characteristics and to facilitate cooperation and solidarity among ILGA regions and members. 4. To promote the diversity and strengths of persons of diverse SOGIESC around the world.

Carpe Diem has become an important organization in the social, cultural and civic life of Karlovac to this day. The primary target group is young people, but its programs and projects often include all age and social groups. It has a well-developed organizational structure, competent people who are members of various national councils and committees for social development, and enjoys the reputation of one of the key organizations for improving the quality of life in Karlovac County. Carpe Diem mostly works with young people, covering all areas of young people's lives in order to contribute to the development of better living conditions for young people in Karlovac County. Since its foundation in 2005, the Carpe Diem association has implemented over 110 projects, programs and initiatives, initiated numerous changes in the city. What we consider our greatest success are active young people who have found themselves and meaning in life, who have been organizing various events in Karlovac in recent years. One of the most important projects run by Carpe Diem is the Youth Center in Grabrik since 2008, which has become an example of good practice in Croatia, but also in Europe, through which we inform, educate and empower young people for active participation in society and strengthen their competences for life. Since 2021, the Carpe Diem association has also run a social and cultural center called Prostor(i)ja and is located in the city center of Karlovac. One of the most important areas of the association's activities is the development of volunteerism, and annually, in our activities, about 60 volunteers participate. Also, since 2014, in the Carpe Diem association, every year we host 3 foreign volunteers who come for a year through the program of the European Solidarity Corps. Carpe Diem is a member of national networks in the field of youth information, volunteerism development, civic education and, at the local level, networks for the development of independent culture.

CARITAS AUSTRIA relief work addresses the needy in their entirety, taking also into consideration their physical, psychological and spiritual-religious backgrounds. CARITAS AUSTRIA commits itself to providing assistance to people in need which is done without regard to creed, ethnicity or ideology of those seeking help. In its operations CARITAS AUSTRIA is guided by respect for the dignity and self-determination of the people it serves. There are more than 1,000 places throughout Austria where CARITAS AUSTRIA helps people in need. In the areas of caregiving, supporting people with disabilities, hospices, in the social counseling centers, on assignment for families in need or for older people who cannot afford heating. CARITAS AUSTRIA - this comprises its fulltime staff, but above all, also the roughly 50.000 volunteers and each and every one of you who supports our work. By realizing its goals, the Association promotes basic human rights and the quality of life of blind and other disabled people, as well as children with developmental difficulties, creating conditions for their social inclusion in the community. The Association's mission is to raise society's awareness of the rights, possibilities and needs of people with disabilities, which contributes to the senzibilization of the community and the increase of the number of independent people, through improving their mobility and quality of everyday life. The association bases its work with individuals, informal groups and non-profit organizations, the business sector, local, regional and state authorities on the principles of empowerment, self-help, education, active involvement, launching positive initiatives, encouraging cooperation, mutual respect and respect for diversity, creating a sustainable model of organizational development civil society. It encourages and develops the self-advocacy role of its members in the promotion of human rights in the context of the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, legal regulations and national strategic documents. It provides mechanisms for the application of prescribed standards and criteria for the work of users with their assigned assistance dogs.

Established in 1981, the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) is one of the world's largest environmental education organisations, with over 100 member organisations in 81 countries. At the heart of the FEE are our five programmes. Coordinated by the Head Office in Copenhagen and implemented by our members around the world, our programmes aim to bring positive change on a global scale: The internationally recognized Eco-Schools programme engages young people in quality environmental education and meaningful action. Through a seven-step framework, pupils are empowered and motivated to drive change and improve environmental awareness in their school, local community and beyond. Close to 50,000 schools around the world are part of the Eco-Schools programme. Learning about Forests (LEAF) advocates for outdoor learning and hands-on experiences, allowing students to connect with nature and develop a deeper understanding of the natural world. While the LEAF programme started with a focus on tree-based ecosystems, today it includes a diversity of ecosystems to foster skills and knowledge by exposing learners to outdoor experiences. LEAF is implemented in 28 countries. Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE) is an award-winning programme that empowers young people to take an educated stand on environmental issues they feel strongly about and gives them a platform to articulate these issues through the media of writing, photography and video. Over 300,000 students engage in the YRE programme yearly. The iconic Blue Flag programme is one of the world's most recognized eco-tourism awards for beaches, marinas, and tourist boat operators. In order to qualify for the Blue Flag, a series of stringent environmental, educational, safety, and accessibility criteria must be met and maintained. Over 5,000 beaches, marinas and tourism boats are currently awarded. Green Key is a voluntary eco-certification programme. With more than 4,000 certified hotels and other establishments in 60 countries, Green Key is the leading standard for excellence in the field of environmental responsibility and sustainable operation within the tourism and hospitality industry. With 40 years of impactful experience in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), FEE's strategic plan - GAIA 20:30 - prioritises climate action across all five programmes to address the urgent threats of climate change, biodiversity loss and environmental pollution. FEE's Environmental Education Principles The member organisations of FEE have agreed upon these principles to guide our work towards excellence in EE/ESD: 1. Ensure that participants are engaged in the learning/teaching process. 2. Encourage participants to make reasonable decisions and actions on real life sustainability issues. 3. The Slovenian Society for Dog Assisted Therapy Tacke pomagacke links together members who visit different institutions together with their dogs. The Society, which was founded in 2007, is a humanitarian, non-profit association of physical persons and works in the public interest. The financial means for its activities derive from membership fees and donations from firms and individuals. The members of the Society are volunteers, and also members of the Slovenian Network of Voluntary Organizations. We are proud of carrying out useful and worthwhile work. In 2008 the Slovenian Society for Dog Assisted Therapy Tacke pomagacke was chosen as Benefactor of the Year. Dogs are faithful, irreplaceable companions. They can have an encouraging influence on complete strangers, as is amply confirmed by scientific research. Increasingly, professional staff in hospitals, institutions, old people's homes, schools and nursery schools acknowledge that dogs can make a decisive contribution to the progress of individuals. As skilful motivators, dogs are welcome in work with children having special needs, with individuals who have suffered injuries, with the debilitated, with cancer patients, and with patients suffering from neurological and degenerative illnesses. Dogs bring happiness and courage, successfully overcome the difficulties due to human reserve and contribute positively to creating a relaxed working atmosphere. They stimulate individuals or a group to cooperate actively, and so are excellent companions for young people and children in nursery schools and schools with a normal programme. In Slovenia there is an increasing demand for visits from therapy dogs of the Tacke pomagacke Society. We visit widely differing institutions, including the Soca University Rehabilitation Institute, the Rakitna Youth Climatic Health Centre, many old people's homes, institutions (for those with psycho-physical difficulties), libraries, nursery schools, primary and secondary schools, etc. The work in these institutions takes place in cooperation with a wide range of professional personnel: occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, special needs teachers, speech therapists, schoolteachers, nursery staff, etc. All our dogs have a suitable character, regular veterinary check-ups, are obedience trained, and have also received specific training for their work. The Society has 71 active therapy pairs (the dog and the handler form a pair; both have participated in the Society's internal training), of these 39 have the R.E.A.D. licence. Members of the Tacke pomagacke Society (this is the short form of the official name) carry out the following programmes: Animal Assisted Therapy - AAT, Animal Assisted Activity - AAA, Animal Assisted Education - AAE, R.E.A.D. programme (Reading Education Assistance Dogs), social activities, presentations for children and young people in nursery schools, schools and at various public events.
