Here at Age Well East we offer free, life-changing support across Essex to help older people thrive. From friendly companionship and activity groups to advice on benefits, housing and wellbeing, we tackle loneliness and empower aging with dignity. Because growing older should be full of possibility.

The current Lord Mayor of Chester is Councillor Sherin Akhtar whose chosen charities for 2025-2026 are Chester Women’s aid, and the Heath Youth Club. The Lord Mayor will be will be raise funds for these charities through donations and regular events which can be seen advertised on social media.

Mental Health UK works in schools, homes and workplaces to build a thriving UK where good mental health is prioritised. We challenge the systems and situations that hold people back, and equip them with tools and advice to unlock their full potential.

Vector24 is a Scotland-wide charity providing compassionate, free transport and welfare support to the armed forces, seafaring, and blue-light communities. Through our regional operations, volunteer outreach support network, and trauma-informed welfare approach.
