More than twenty years ago, four college students asked each other: What if we could offer children from under-resourced communities individualized attention before they enter kindergarten, giving them the critical academic and social skills—the ‘jumpstart’—they need to succeed? The idea took hold and today Jumpstart has trained more than 45,000 college students and community volunteers, preparing nearly 100,000 children for kindergarten success. Jumpstart’s program is replicated across the country in 14 states and the District of Columbia. We leverage partnerships with higher education institutions, community organizations, Head Start programs, community-based preschools, and school districts to create sustainable solutions in order to close the kindergarten readiness gap.

Higher Achievement closes the opportunity gap during the pivotol middle school years. By leveraging the power of communities, Higher Achievement's proven model provides a rigorous, year-round learning environment, caring role models, and a culture of high expectations, resulting in college-bound scholars with the character, confidence, and skills to succeed.

Horizons for Youth is a community committed to helping children succeed in school and in life. In partnership with dedicated families, we provide tuition scholarships, one-on-one mentoring, individual tutoring, a summer academic program, counseling, enrichment outings, and high school and college preparation.

The "I Have A Dream" Foundation empowers children in low-income communities to achieve higher education and fulfill their leadership potential by providing them with guaranteed tuition support and equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and habits they need to gain entry to higher education and succeed in college and beyond. By helping our Dreamers gain access to college, we are putting our Dreamers on a different academic and life trajectory, while having a broader impact on the students' families and the generations that follow.

Learning Ally transforms the lives of new and struggling learners through literacy. By understanding how each student learns, Learning Ally will provide solutions to support and empower educators and students to solve the literacy problem.

Lee Pesky Learning Center works together with students, families, schools, and communities to understand and overcome obstacles to learning. We specialize in improving the lives of people with learning disabilities through prevention, evaluation, treatment, and research

Global Kids, Inc. is a non-profit educational organization that develops youth leaders for the global stage through dynamic global education and leadership development programs.  Global Kids works with underserved youth to inspire them to achieve academic excellence, self-actualization and global competency and empowers them to take action on critical issues facing their communities and our world.

On a mission to provide educational resources that empower teachers to inspire future leaders, A Gift For Teaching (AGFT) envisions a future where every student in Central Florida has the tools and experiences to succeed.

Rocking the Boat empowers young people challenged by severe economic, educational, and social conditions to develop the self-confidence to set ambitious goals and gain the skills necessary to achieve them.  Students work together to build wooden boats, learn to row and sail, and restore local urban waterways, revitalizing their community while creating better lives for themselves. Kids don’t just build boats at Rocking the Boat, boats build kids.

NRA Special Contribution Fund provides education and training in firearms safety, marksmanship, and wildlife conservation. The Whittington Center was built near Raton, New Mexico to expand educational, recreational, and shooting activities. The Whittington Center is open to all members of the public.
