In 1998, the club created the Foundation who’s mission is “To manage and grow the funds entrusted to it in a lawful manner and to make available charitable funding in perpetuity for qualified beneficiaries selected by the Rotary Club of Point West.” Since 1998, the Foundation has donated over $1.1 million to over one hundred worthy charitable causes in three broad categories: Organizations that create opportunity, enhance self esteem, and provide physical and moral support for vulnerable children; Programs that celebrate or promote community service; and Service activities of Rotary International and other Rotary clubs. Grants must finance a specific benevolent activity; requests for support of general operations (operating expenses) are not considered; and grants are made only to qualified 501 (c) (3) and other tax qualified organizations. We build schools, train teacher leaders, and develop community programs towards the goal of promoting peace and mitigating future conflict.

Best of the Batch Foundation provides year-round educational programming to more than 4,000 children ranging in ages from 4 to 18, across 22 school districts in eight western Pennsylvania counties. Our goal is to provide communities with the purpose, desire, and resources to give their best efforts in all they do throughout their lives. By providing educational, athletic, community-based, and leadership programming- we show our commitment to the success of all of our youth and their families.

One Can Help provides the scarce resources that underserved children and families involved in the juvenile court system need in order to improve their lives and reach higher.

The Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund offers high school scholarship assistance and programmatic support to Chicago students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. DMSF makes a powerful difference in the lives of Murphy Scholars by providing them with the best opportunity for high school, college, and life-long success

Denver Kids, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dating back to 1946, which provides long-term educational and social/emotional counseling and mentoring to boys and girls who are students in the Denver Public Schools who face challenges associated with higher-risk environments. The mission is to empower students to positively shape their lives, successfully complete high school, and pursue post-secondary options. Each student is guided by a Denver Kids Educational SEL Counselor who provides one-to-one counseling to address a variety of needs for each student on an individual basis. Denver Kids are also matched on a one-to-one basis with a volunteer from the community who commits his or her time and energy to serve as a volunteer mentor for a minimum of one year. The volunteer mentor receives training and guidance and serves as a positive adult role model in the student's life.

The Denver Scholarship Foundation inspires and empowers Denver Public Schools students to achieve their postsecondary goals by providing the tools, knowledge and financial resources essential for success.
