CJE's mission is to facilitate independence of older adults and to enhance quality of life by advocating on their behalf and offering programs and services throughout the continuum of care for individuals, families and the community.  The agency is an affiliate of Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago.

The Virginia Home is a private, nonprofit 130-bed facility providing nursing, therapeutic and residential care to adult Virginians with irreversible physical disabilities. The Home exists to provide compassionate, professional care and to ensure that the lifelong comfort and security of these individuals will never be compromised, regardless of ability to pay. The staff develops and seeks to improve the physical, social and emotional lives of those living with a severe disabling condition, helping them to live active, meaningful lives.

“The mission of Meals on Wheels is to deliver food and nutritious meals to Rowan County seniors and individuals who have difficulty leaving their homes and/or are challenged to prepare their meals. Our volunteers and staff build relationships, provide referrals and work to mitigate social isolation."

Carmel Manor has been caring for the aged and infirm residents of our community. We are a mission –driven organization, sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters-whose sole focus is to care for the aged and the infirm with love, compassion and joy. The mission of the Parker County Committee on Aging (PCCOA) is to identify and assess the needs of the frail, homebound elderly of Parker County and to provide the services they need to live out their lives with dignity in the safety and comfort of their homes.

To provide exceptional rehabilitation, skilled nursing, assisted living and memory care services with compassion, dignity and respect in partnership with our residents and families. We promote meaningful interactions and activities in a safe, warm and resident-centered environment that welcomes all faiths and cultures, while celebrating Jewish traditions and values.

What began as a volunteer effort in 1910 has grown into an extensive campus offering retirement housing, assisted living, state-of-the-art nursing and rehab care, memory care and other services for seniors and their families. Today, more than 1,070 people make our campus in Rockville, Maryland, their home, and rely on the Charles E. Smith Life Communities for sophisticated inpatient rehabilitation, specialized memory care, nursing home services, senior housing, assisted living and outpatient medical care. We are also serving younger adults recovering from prolonged illnesses. Our programs are open to all in the community.

Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland's charitable mission is to enable people to live independently at home through the provision of nutritious meals, personal contact and related services. By providing nutritious, home-delivered meals, personalized education and support services, and in-home care management, MOWCM impacts social, behavioral and environmental determinants of health resulting from isolation and poverty.

Shepherd's Center of Chesterfield enriches the lives of adults 60 and over by offering opportunities for interfaith community service, lifelong learning and assistance in maintaining a healthy and independent lifestyle. We work closely with our volunteers, donors and community partners to fulfill our mission by providing: Free, accompanied transportation to medical appointments, pharmacies and for grocery shopping, including food pantriesA minor home repair service for home safety and independent living securityA low-cost lifelong learning program to help maintain overall physical and mental health and keep seniors socially connected with the community at largeA variety of opportunities to volunteer within the organization to help them stay active and to live a life that truly matters
