Kendal at Hanover is a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community characterized by mutual respect, integrity and a concern for each other's welfare that fosters the independence, vitality, health and security of older persons and in which residents and staff may exercise their talents in a supportive environment. TO ALLEVIATE HUNGER, FOOD INSECURITY AND SOCIAL ISOLATION BY SERVING HEALTHY AND DIGNIFIED NOONTIME MEALS EVERY WEEKDAY BY PROVIDING EDUCATION IN MAKING GOOD, NUTRITIONAL CHOICES AND BY HELPING PEOPLE ACCESS AVAILABLE FOOD RESOURCES.

THE CENTER OWNS AND OPERATES A 141 BED NURSING HOME THAT PROVIDES INPATIENT LONG-TERM CARE AND RECUPERATIVE SERVICES FOR ITS PATIENTS.

THE MISSION OF MOUNT PLEASANT HOME IS TO PROVIDE HOUSING AND SERVICE OPTIONS FOR ELDERS WITH EMPHASIS ON SERVING A DIVERSE POPULATION AND GIVING PRIORITY TO THOSE WITH LIMITED FINANCIAL RESOURCES AND INADEQUATE SUPPORT SYSTEMS.

A Mission of ServiceThe Holyoke Visiting Nurse Association, Inc. established in 1905, is dedicated to providing quality home health care to individuals who are elderly, impoverished and medically needy. We coordinate and deliver comprehensive, cost effective services including nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social work and home health aide care. We, the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, as women of the church inspired by Mother M. Angeline Teresa, respond with faith, courage and love to the healing ministry of Christ. When you call South Shore Elder Services you are quickly handed to one of our well trained and experienced staff members who will help you with your particular needs, and they will be able to provide you with answers to your questions, along with the support and guidance you need to make the decisions that are right for you.

VNA Hospice & Palliative Care, part of VNA Care, improves the quality of life for individuals and their loved ones facing a life-limiting illness and loss. Our team provides physical, emotional, social, practical, and spiritual support tailored to each person’s needs and goals. Care is provided wherever a patient calls home, including private residences, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. VNA Hospice & Palliative Care also offers three home-like hospice residences (Elizabeth Evarts de Rham Hospice Home, Cambridge; Rose Monahan Hospice Home, Worcester; and Stanley R. Tippett Hospice Home, Needham) for times when remaining at home is not possible. Our staff is dedicated to our mission to provide the right care with kindness and compassion every day for every person we serve.
