The mission of Charlie Mike is to save the lives of military veterans still carrying the unseen wounds of combat. We rescue, rehabilitate, and train shelter dogs to serve as companions and provide emotional support to veterans. We also provide veterans with the opportunity to work with horses as a therapeutic approach to cope with their invisible wounds.

A top priority is the enhancement and beautification of the northern most nationally recognized veterans cemetery in Maine-the Maine Veterans Cemetery-Caribou. Our goal is to work cooperatively with the State of Maine Bureau of Veterans Affairs, along with public, private and religious entities as well as professional organizations to advocate for veterans in matters relating to burial options for our most treasured veterans.
