Approximately 3,000 children in Dallas go to sleep each night without a home of their own. We’re on a mission to help young children overcome the lasting and traumatic effects of homelessness. It is our vision that every child in our community has a home, a self-sufficient family and a foundation for success in school and life — and the clock is ticking. 90% of brain development happens by the age of five. Without intervention at this critical time, homeless children may suffer lifelong social, emotional and educational deficits. That’s where we come in. And YOU can help.

Founded in 1983 as a soup kitchen, Miriam's Kitchen has evolved over the years to provide more than meals. Today, Miriam's Kitchen is a critical player in the fight to end chronic homelessness in DC. On the direct services level, we help our guests improve their health, increase their income and obtain housing through a range of programs and partnerships. Mission: Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat invites people from all faiths and walks of life to work together in partnership, building houses with families in need.

We meet the critical needs of homeless children across North Texas by providing necessities including diapers, clothing, school supplies, toys and programs to enhance their lives.

HomeStart's mission is to end homelessness in Greater Boston by assisting individuals in obtaining housing and settling into the community, and by developing strategies to prevent homelessness before it starts.​ Together as a community of advocates, tenants, landlords, and concerned neighbors, HomeStart helps families and individuals in crisis to regain and maintain a stable home– safe, affordable housing connected to a community of support.

Family Service League helps individuals, children, and families to mobilize their strengths and improve the quality of their lives at home, in the workplace, and in the community.

Union Rescue Mission is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring the lives of the homeless and poor in Los Angeles by seeking to empower them to break the cycle of poverty and become self-sufficient. 

COMMUNITY HELP IN PARK SLOPE, INC. ("CHIPS") IS A NONSECTARIAN, VOLUNTARY, COMMUNITY-BASED NEW YORK NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION CHARTERED IN 1977. ITS MISSION IS TWOFOLD: TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND TEMPORARY HOUSING TO NEW AND EXPECTANT MOTHERS, AND TO FEED THOSE IN NEED THROUGH THEIR FOOD PANTRY AND SOUP KITCHEN.

Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) is a publicly funded 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that builds and donates specially adapted, custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans to enable them to rebuild their lives. Most of these Veterans have sustained life-altering injuries including multiple amputations, partial or full paralysis, blindness, or severe traumatic brain injury (TBI). These homes are no cost to our Veterans and allows them to start restoring some of the freedom and independence that they sacrificed defending ours, all while enabling them to focus on their family, recovery, and moving forward. Our HFOT family continues its relationship with our Veterans even after the home is completed and donated to them. We assist our Heroes with rebuilding their lives after the keys are handed over.
