The mission of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina is: No One Goes Hungry in Central & Eastern North Carolina. Established in 1980, the Food Bank is a nonprofit organization that has provided food for people at risk of hunger in 34 counties for over 35 years. The Food Bank serves a network of more than 800 partner agencies such as soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and programs for children and adults through distribution centers in Durham, Greenville, New Bern, Raleigh, the Sandhills (Southern Pines) and Wilmington. Sadly, food insecurity remains a serious problem in central and eastern North Carolina. In these counties, more than 636,920 people struggle to access nutritious and adequate amounts of food necessary for a healthy life.

Northwest Harvest is a food justice organization in Washington state. We build partnerships in communities across Washington to get food where it’s needed most. We provide an average of two million meals each month through our statewide network of more than 350 food banks, meal programs, schools, and community-based organizations. Part of a justice-centered movement, we advocate to change inequitable policies, practices, and institutions that perpetuate hunger and poverty. Together, we ensure communities across our state can access the nutritious food they want and need to thrive.

The Pollinator Partnership is the largest organization in the world dedicated exclusively to the protection and promotion of pollinators and their ecosystems. Birds, bats, bees, butterflies, beetles, and other small mammals that pollinate plants are responsible for bringing us one out of every three bites of food. They also sustain our ecosystems and produce our natural resources by helping plants reproduce. Without the actions of pollinators agricultural economies, our food supply, and surrounding landscapes would collapse. Pollinator Partnership's mission is North American in scope, conducting programs and projects in the US, Canada, and Mexico.

The U.S. Association for International Migration (USAIM) is the nonprofit partner of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in the United States. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, USAIM seeks to empower migrants. Through outreach, education, and fundraising USAIM aims to raise awareness about the reality of migration while encouraging positive action. Enhance Worldwide envisions communities where girls and women have the skills to lead meaningful, dignified lives in which each individual has agency, autonomy and aspirations. Enhance Worldwide aims to facilitate a process in which girls, women and their communities unearth, discover and learn strategies to navigate the challenges to their wellbeing in an effort to develop as individuals in their own right. Enhance Worldwide understands harmful traditional practices as a leading barrier to a life of dignity and focuses its efforts on combating these practices worldwide. Enhance Worldwide creates customized interventions in collaboration with local people, with an emphasis on the leadership of women and girls, who understand the challenges and opportunities as part of their lived experience. The intervention design is focused on Positive Deviance, the concept that in every community there are positive deviants, individuals whose behaviors and strategies have allowed them to overcome the challenges to their wellbeing with which their peers struggle. By discovering and practicing these positive deviant behaviors, Enhance Worldwide focuses on existing, indigenous solutions.

Our mission is to promote optimal nutrition through science-based education, advocacy, and research. By empowering individuals and health professionals, we aim to improve personal, public, and environmental health.

Veggielution connects people from diverse backgrounds through food and farming to overcome social isolation. We build social capital by connecting East San Jose residents to one another and to those outside their neighborhood so that participants have more robust social networks for taking positive action in their community.

We are New Mexico’s largest food pantry. More and more of Albuquerque’s working poor are struggling to feed themselves and their families. Money is tight for everyone, but one illness, a reduction of work hours, or any setback can leave a family wondering where their next meal is coming from or how they will get clothing or shoes. We provide FREE food and clothing to people who are struggling. We are in constant need of donations of money, food or clothing. We rely entirely on donations and volunteers in our mission.

Urban Food Alliance strives to alleviate food insecurity in local communities. We help feed the hungry in several ways:1) We provide warm meals at shelters and in places where homeless people gather. 2) We reach out to local Social Services departments to identify where meals are needed and work with them to organize collection drives to supply community food banks and soup kitchens.3) We create alliances with schools, community service groups, restaurants and other organizations to bring volunteers and resources together.4) In the long term, we hope to offer food education programs that will help people shop for and prepare healthy foods on a budget.

AGILE International's mission is to empower rural women in Mali and West Africa so they can restore food security and the cultural wisdom that underlies traditional sustainable agriculture.

Mission Statement: To serve the poor in Mexico, and further the Kingdom of God through worship and intercession. Voice of the Bride "Worship and Compassion" Ministries exists for two purposes. We are committed to serving the poor and needy, specifically in Mexico. Daily, we are either picking up donated food supplies for distribution in Tijuana, or distributing food and other items to those in need in the poorer parts of Tijuana. This includes orphanages, rehabs, elderly homes, women's shelters, infirmaries, and various street outreaches, where many people hear the Gospel, as well as receive food for their families. VOB is also committed to furthering the Kingdom of GOD through worship and intercession, believing that prayer and worship 'grease the wheels' of mission work. VOB has sponsored and led worship in several targeted worship and intercession events. We have led worship at various outreaches in Tijuana, and are holding regular worship events in San Diego, designed to encourage people to spend extended time before the Lord in worship and prayer, and, specifically, to extend GOD's Kingdom on behalf of the nations through worship and intercession.
