SisterSong’s mission is to amplify and strengthen the collective voices of indigenous women and women of color to achieve Reproductive Justice (RJ) by eradicating reproductive oppression and securing human rights. RJ is the human right to maintain personal bodily autonomy, choose when and how to have children or not, and parent in safety with adequate resources. RJ centers the needs and leadership of the most marginalized and the intersections of oppressions. The first RJ organization founded to build the movement, SisterSong includes and represents Indigenous, African American, Asian and Pacific Islander, Arab and Middle Eastern, Latinx, and queer women and trans people. A top RJ thought leader, trainer, organizer, and collaboration facilitator, our focus is Southern and national.
The Perinton Food Shelf is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) that provides emergency food assistance to residents of the Fairport/Perinton area (primarily ZIP 14450). It sources donated nonperishables and buys fresh items as needed, runs food drives and drop-off locations, and packages weekly food supplies for qualifying households.
The Easton Food Pantry is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) that provides emergency and routine food assistance to Easton, MA residents. It operates regular food distributions (currently Mondays at the Fellowship Church/rear entrance) and relies on donated food, monetary gifts, and volunteers to serve local families in need.
At the Food Bank for Larimer County, we believe no one should be hungry. Our dream is to deliver health, hope and humanity to stabilize the lives of our clients and build a vibrant community. We are a private non-profit organization and the only Feeding America clearinghouse for donated food in our county.
