Indigenous Health Solutions is a trans-disciplinary collective of pioneers driven by a passion for service to the Earth, and the poorest and most remote communities on it. Through the lens of planetary health, where shifts in natural systems are prioritized in examination of human health, experts in conservation, health, anthropology, and business come together with those in need to craft and implement culturally informed and community led solutions for development. Our programs are built upon the foundational principle that development must be indigenous, that is, planned in partnership with those in need and rooted in the place of delivery, reflecting practical awareness of the interconnection between health, conservation, livelihood, and education.

Kids Cooking For Life (KCL) believes every child deserves to live a healthy and happy life. KCL teaches nutrition and inspires lifelong healthy cooking and eating habits through hands-on cooking classes to students from low income communities. We believe that instilling an understanding of proper diet and nutrition is a way to help combat the childhood obesity epidemic and the early onset of type 2 diabetes, among other diseases. KCL is fiscally sponsored by MarinLink.

Give Clean Water is a non-profit organization focused on bringing clean water systems to families, schools and nursing stations in rural Fiji.

WE COOK. Our delicious, freshly prepared, health-promoting meals designed to meet the highest quality standards are critical in helping prevent or manage chronic disease. WE DELIVER. A majority of our clients are homebound or disabled and rely on our volunteers and staff to not only deliver their meals, but ensure that they do not suffer the debilitating effects of social isolation. WE TEACH. From one-on-one consults, Cooking Matters classes across the state, community partnerships and national advocacy efforts through the Food Is Medicine Coalition, we are helping the under-served live healthier lives.WE CARE. Friends come together here to touch the lives of thousands of others who are not as fortunate. Together we strive to lift them up, improve their health, & enrich their lives.
