The Gender Equality Law Center (GELC) is a 501(c)(3) Brooklyn-based non-profit law and advocacy center committed to advancing laws and policies that promote gender justice and racial equity in all aspects of public and private life. Using an intersectional lens, we break down barriers that limit opportunities for low-income women, LGBTQ and gender non-conforming individuals on the basis of gender and/or sexual orientation as well those that are created by institutionalized discrimination and stereotyping. In order to bring about the most effective change, we use a unique blend of strategies, including: 1) direct legal services and impact litigation; 2) community focused trainings and organizing; and 3) legislative and systemic policy advocacy.

The organization is dedicated to serving those most in need in our community - the disabled, the handicapped, the poor and the distressed. Our programs address homelessness and abandonment with housing and care.

The Adult Learning Center provides motivated adults with basic education, life-long learning opportunities and resources to transform their lives and contribute to their communities, in the spirit of the teachings of Jesus Christ and the principles of social justice.

The HBCU Foundation is a nationally-focused, federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose aim is to provide scholarship aid to deserving students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities. We partner with 102 public and private member-schools to: - Increase access, retention and graduation rates of all students - Identify and adequately equip students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities who have displayed significant leadership potential - Create a pipeline for hiring organizations of top-tier, well-rounded, HBCU students and alumni - Foster a new generation of entrepreneurially and globally-minded, HBCU student and alumni leaders

Fieldstone Farm engages the therapeutic power of our horses to discover and nurture the special abilities of individuals, families and communities.

Blue Jacket's mission is to provide the tools and opportunities to any adult with a barrier who is striving to earn a chance at gainful employment. At creation, Blue Jacket was envisioned to be a social enterprise with an affirmative business model; transitionally hiring the very people it is serving to better their chances at a career.
