Our Vision: All Sonoma Valley teens are prepared for future opportunities. Our Mission: Teen Services Sonoma engages and supports teens and young adults with work-readiness skills and experiences that empower them to succeed. Since 1991, we have worked with Sonoma Valley schools, local businesses, and other youth-serving organizations to provide work-readiness skills and experiences that prepare teens for successful employment in a career of their choosing. There are three phases to our approach: Engage - Building comfort, trust, and self-confidence in a safe environment with caring adults at one of our two drop-in centers: The Teen Center and the No Name Cafe. Employ - Through our Ready to Work program, we provide work-readiness training, work-based learning opportunities, job placement services, and coaching. Empower - TSS teens gain the skills, experiences, and confidence to succeed. Our programs include the operation of micro businesses, work-readiness and on-the-job training, and job placement services. Our process allows teens to gain practical experiences, helping to prepare them for meaningful careers in trades, occupations, professions, and small-business ownership.

Hispanic Unity of Florida

Empowering immigrants and others to become self-sufficient, productive and civically engaged. Hispanic Unity of Florida, Inc. (HUF) was founded 34 years ago, in 1982, by community leaders who recognized south Florida's growing role as a haven for immigrants and refugees. HUF is the largest 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization in Broward County dedicated to serving the immigrant population by fulfilling its mission of "Empowering Immigrants and others to become self-sufficient, productive and civically engaged". HUF's goal is to ease immigrants' acculturation transition by providing skills, services and tools to help them build their new lives in their adopted country. Recognizing that focusing on and providing coaching on an individual basis is more likely to achieve educational and economic success, HUF offers a one-stop, integrated and multiservice approach designed to serve entire families and meet their evolving needs as they build new lives. Annually, we serve 17,000 diverse and multicultural clients from the United States and from more than 25 other countries.

The Community Career Center (CCC) has been empowering job seekers for over 20 years. Their mission is to provide diverse resources to empower job seekers to achieve sustainable employment. The CCC provides a supportive and professional setting where job seekers can conduct an effective and successful job search. Volunteers and staff offer a wide range of technical and practical job search assistance as well as encouragement and support to anyone who is unemployed, underemployed or seeking a career change. In addition, volunteer career coaches provide one-on-one assistance with career counseling in the areas of Career Exploration, Job Search Strategies, Resume Review, Interviewing, Networking, LinkedIn, and Basic Computer skills.
