The Haitian American Caucus-US is a (501c3 tax-deductible) global community development nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide Haitian communities around the world with access to information and resources that will foster self-development and success.

The mission of the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota (ILCM) is to enhance opportunities for immigrants and refugees through legal representation for low-income individuals, and through education and advocacy with diverse communities.  To fulfill our mission, ILCM has three primary goals: 1. Remedy legal problems by providing quality immigration legal services to low-income immigrants and refugees of all nationalities; 2. Prevent legal problems by providing law-related education to immigrants and refugees, which alerts families and networks to available legal protections and rights; and  3. Raise public awareness of immigration issues to encourage public policy that is both compassionate and practical and protects the universal human rights of immigrants and refugees.

We promote empowerment and civic participation through education, workforce development, youth and family engagement, and community-strengthening initiatives. We are the leading resource for East Tennessee’s Latino community and we are the leading resource for East Tennessee regarding the Latino community.

The Fund for American Studies has been educating young leaders on the values of freedom, democracy and free-market economies since 1967. Eleven institutes around the world bring college students together for educational programs engaging them in a rigorous examination of economic concepts, political systems, and moral philosophy. Our goal is to prepare young people for honorable leadership by educating them in the theory, practice, and benefits of a free society.

We accompany immigrants in their transition from poverty and isolation to prosperity and participation.

The Migrant and Immigrant Community Action Project (MICA Project) is a community organization committed to working with low-income immigrants to overcome barriers to justice. The MICA Project utilizes legal services, organizing, advocacy, and education to promote the voice and human dignity of immigrant communities.

The mission of IRIS is to enable refugees and other displaced people to establish new lives, regain hope, and contribute to the vitality of Connecticut’s communities. Refugees are men, women and children who fled their countries of origin due to persecution on the basis of their race, nationality, religious belief, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group. According to international law, refugees are those who have a "well-founded fear of persecution" and are unable to return to their countries without risking violence to themselves and their families, including torture and death. They are granted special immigration status according to international law. Each year the US government invites a small number of them to start new lives, or "resettle," in this country. The front-line work of resettlement is done by local agencies like IRIS. IRIS works intensively with refugees, particularly during the first year of their resettlement, to help them build lives of their own choosing in the US. IRIS also serves the larger immigrant community through its Food Pantry. Through outreach, advocacy, and public events, IRIS educates the community about the refugee experience and issues of national and international importance that touch all of our lives.

To transform, alleviate, educate and protect the lives of underprivileged, individuals and minority communities impacted by disasters, natural or man-made, suffering from hunger, illiteracy, diseases, or from violation of civil and human-rights into informed and vibrant members of society by fostering sustainable programs regardless of color, race, religion or creed.

Northwest Immigrant Rights Project promotes justice by defending and advancing the rights of immigrants through direct legal services, systemic advocacy, and community education.

The National Peace Corps Association connects and champions Peace Corps community members in “bringing the world home.” Our Goals: *Develop essential networks and information resources for and about the Peace Corps community. *Provide National Peace Corps Association members and Groups with service and education opportunities that build on their Peace Corps experience and values. *Advocate for the Peace Corps and its values and for critical issues identified by National Peace Corps Association members.
