The Seany Foundation exists to improve the lives of children, teens and young adults affected by cancer through programs that bring hope and happiness to kids with cancer and their families.

The Lake County Children's Advocacy Center is committed to providing a safe environment for child victims of abuse. The goal of the center is to investigate and help successfully prosecute offenders of child abuse without causing further trauma to the child victim. The LCCAC is dedicated to approaching victims of child abuse in a sensitive, respectful manner.

Maryvale's mission, inspired by the compassionate service of our Vincentian founders, faithful to Catholic social teaching rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ and the charism of the daughters of charity, is to heal, empower and educate children and families in order to instill hope for a more fulfilling future. We do this by providing residential, educational, mental health and community-based services in an environment of dignity, love and respect.

Learning doesn’t begin when a child starts school. Amazingly, 85% of a baby’s intellect, personality, and social skills are developed in the first three years of life. But because babies don’t come with operating instructions, all parents need a little guidance on how to make the most of this critical period. That’s where Bright by Three comes in. Bright by three visits with parents and other caregivers and provides a three-step program to make sure their little ones get the best start at life. And it’s absolutely free for these families, supported entirely by charitable contributions. Since it was founded in 1995 by then-governor Roy Romer and former Procter & Gamble chairman Brad Butler, Bright by Three has reached an increasing number of families across the state each year — nearly 21,000 last year alone. But an average of 68,000 babies are born in the state each year, so we’ve got a lot more work to do to put these tools in every Colorado home where there’s a baby or toddler. That’s where you come in. There are two ways to help us reach more families: tell a family member, friend, neighbor or anyone who has or is expecting a young child about us. This is a program that’s proven to be helpful for all families, regardless of their income or background. (it’s even available in Spanish) Help support this statewide initiative. A donation of as little as $25 pays for a kit for one family. If you can afford more, you can help us reach even more families. With enough people spreading the word about these programs and donating, we can realize our goal of ensuring that every Colorado child gets the same great start.

Joubert syndrome (JS) is a disorder defined by three primary findings: 1) a specific abnormality in the part of the brain characterized by underdevelopment of the cerebellar vermis and additional brain stem differences giving the appearance of the molar tooth sign (MTS) 2) hypotonia (low muscle tone) 3) developmental delays/intellectual disabilities of varying degrees

Assist Pregnancy Center exists to promote life through Christ to those who are vulnerable to abortion. Assist promotes life by encouraging, educating, and empowering women and their partners to choose physical life for their babies and eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.

Building Better Days provides building toys for hospitalized children and their siblings in Maryland. We provide a building toy for a child admitted 3 or more nights in the hospital, who had surgery or who has a serious illness and is in and out of the hospital often. We also serve their siblings. We believe that days spent in the hospital take children away from their lives spent running, playing and enjoying their friends. We want to give children a piece of childhood by providing building and constructing toys. Our hope is that it will take their minds off of the treatments and procedures that they are going through and help them connect to their creative selves and share their creations with others, including new friends in the hospital.

Using play therapy to provide comfort and companionship to children and families facing the challenges of pediatric cancer treatment.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for children and young adults with special needs through operation of summer camps and other recreational and educational opportunities. Camp Dream is a recreational, traditional summer camp experience for children and young adults with moderate to severe physical and developmental disabilities. Camp Dream is 100% volunteer, offering a one-to-one camper-counselor ratio. Camp Dream is a barrier free environment that has never turned away a camper due to the severity of their disability or their financial capability.

The Triangle Down Syndrome Network (TDSN) is a nonprofit support, resource, and advocacy organization for individuals, families, and professionals. Our mission is to support, educate, and connect individuals with down syndrome, their families, and communities in North Carolina. We believe that the community benefits when individuals with Down syndrome are understood, respected, and appreciated. Lives are enriched when they are included in schools, recreation, workplaces, neighborhoods, and faith communities. We support individuals with Down syndrome and the communities they live in so that everyone can achieve their full potential.
