Since 1975, Children's Hunger Relief Fund (CHRF) has responded to children's immediate physical, emotional, and spiritual needs following drought, earthquakes, hurricanes, war, and other disasters. CHRF cares for thousands of children around the world from orphanages, schools, and feeding centers in Central America, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, South Africa, Uganda and Zambia, to a full surgery, dental, and medical clinic and children's home complex in Mexico...to child immunization clinics, AIDS prevention classes, and clean-water projects in Kenya, to assisting disaster stricken families in the U.S.

St. Luke’s serves hundreds of Davidson County residents every day. St. Luke’s doors of hope are open to anyone in need in Davidson County. We serve children, seniors, individuals, and families. Our clients are socio-economically and ethnically diverse and demographics vary within each of our programs by age, income-level, family size and need.

The purpose of the West End YMCA, in affiliation with the National Council of Young Men's Christian Association of the United States, is to help persons of all ages, ethnic groups and religious affiliations who are united in a common effort to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice to enrich the quality of spiritual, mental, physical and social life for our families, our communities and ourselves.

We implement family support, economic development and foster care programs that safely place separated children back with their birth families, relatives or foster families. We also preserve at-risk families to prevent child abandonment and reduce the reliance on orphanages. Our services empower families to achieve independent, self-sufficient lives and provide healthy environments for their children. Services include: parenting, counseling, early childhood development education, sustainable income generation training and short-term livelihood support.

The Compassion Closet exists to show the love of Christ by providing quality clothing and tangible goods to foster children and their families. We also desire to serve birth families, aging-out youth, kinship placements, and domestic/international adoptive families as God allows and the needs arise.

The Susie Q’s Kids, Inc. was formed in honor of our loving daughter, Susan McBride-Welsh (Susie Q). She was instrumental in helping those less fortunate, and this organization was created to continue good works in the community. We strive to make a difference following in her footsteps. Our mission is to improve the lives of children and young adults with comfort bags to meet their basic needs, comfort needs and provide inspirational support that others care.

Their mission is to promote awareness of the Latino cultures to children in DeafEd and Deaf Adults, including their families. Their goal is to support parents by guiding them through the process of adapting the Deaf culture and ASL into their lives so they can pass along our traditions to our next generation and maintain our cultures alive!
