Books For Africa's vision is to end the book famine in Africa.  To accomplish that, the organization collects, sorts and ships donated textbooks, reference and general reading books to countries throughout Africa.

The unique Harlem Children’s Zone has transformed what it means for children to grow up in a high-poverty community. HCZ’s unprecedented success is a result of a seamless pipeline of programs that optimize the development of children at each level, from birth through college. In our 97-block Children’s Zone we strengthen the families around the children and have created a culture of success, where college-going is the norm. We serve 12,500 children and 12,500 adults among our 30+ programs, all guided by a commitment to continuous improvement and driven by data. We run two K-12 charter schools, early childhood programs, afterschool programs, social-work offices, community-building efforts and a college support program. We have graduated more than 700 students from college since 2011.

The organization's primary purpose is to help needy families in the United States that have children with terminal cancer. The organization helps families by creating memories through special gifts, access to events, or contact with local celebrities/sports heroes that the parents would otherwise be unable to provide.

The Mardy Fish Children's Foundation works to provide children access to after-school fitness, nutritional, and enrichment programs to prepare them for healthy, productive and successful lives.  

The Tim Tebow Foundation exists to bring faith, hope, and love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need by providing funding and support to charities around the world.

An Achievable Dream (AAD) is a nationally recognized K through 12 program dedicated to the belief that all children can learn and succeed regardless of their socioeconomic background. AAD operates two schools in a unique public/private partnership with Newport News Public Schools (NNPS). NNPS provides instructional and support elements common to all city schools, including basic curriculum and staffing, student services, transportation, food service, and maintenance. An Achievable Dream raises funds for and operates additional components that contribute significantly to the program's effectiveness. The focus at all grade levels is that college and successful careers are achievable for everyone.

International Institute of Los Angeles was founded in 1914 by the YMCA to provide a variety of services to underserved populations. IILA has expanded to provide a variety of services to immigrant communities throughout the Los Angeles area. In addition to refugee resettlement and immigration services IILA provides employment and training, childcare, nutrition programs for children and adults, senior services, transportation, and youth and family services. IILA's philosophy is to assist individuals and families achieve self-sufficiently and provide community leadership to promote multicultural understanding.

Connections For Children is the unrivaled child care expert in the Westside and South Bay communities of Los Angeles County. We guide families and child care professionals towards quality services and programs. Our goal is to make sure that all children receive early care and education that prepares them for success. With nearly 40 years of knowledge and experience, we have increased the quality of child care by influencing public policy, providing referral services for families, and offering professional development to early childhood educators. Connections For Children helps families find quality child care regardless of income. We believe that thriving, well cared for children benefit the entire community. Since its founding in 1974, Connections For Children has helped to foster nourishing child care environments. We work to ensure that all children will have the support to live up to their full potential. We advocate for quality early learning and provide community resources for families, teachers, and caregivers. Connections For Children supports families and child care providers by offering comprehensive child care guidance. The mission of Utah Youth Village is to change and improve the lives of troubled, neglected and abused children and youth, without regard to race, color, national origin or religious preference and to establish and aid all those who would join in this endeavor.To this end, Utah Youth Village will: Provide education to children and youth Teach youth to respect themselves and others Build self-worth Teach youth to understand consequences and make wise decisions Teach youth life-enabling skills Aid and assist in the prevention of juvenile delinquency Serve as advocates for children's needs and concerns Protect children and youth from abuse, neglect and negative influences in their lives Actively support reunification of the child with the family whenever possible. The cornerstone of the Village's treatment philosophy is the profound value of the family in the emotional well-being of a child. The primary goal of treatment is to restore healthy parent-child relationships whenever feasible.Youth who have religious inclinations will be encouraged to be active in the faith of their choice. Youth will be taught about nutrition, exercise and hygiene.We will actively advocate for children and not allow society to ignore or diminish the legitimate needs of children and youth.

We believe every child deserves a lifelong, permanent connection. We believe that people raise children, not systems. Through this belief, we have created our Promise of Permanency. For every child that enters a Boys & Girls Aid program, we promise to prepare youth for permanency, advocate on their behalf for permanency and help them find resources for their permanency. Permanency means a lifelong commitment between and with an adult and child. By providing each child with a permanent committed adult, they will receive the guidance, stability and emotional support needed to be a successful adult in their community.

The Child Advocacy Center of Greater Rochester gives children a voice by advocating for them with trauma-informed, child-centered services across prevention, intervention, and healing. We create spaces where children can feel supported through adulthood and each step of their journey, while ensuring they do not experience re-traumatization.
