Mychal’s Learning Place provides training, support and job‑training opportunities for youth and young adults with developmental disabilities so they can develop independent‑living and employment skills and pursue their goals. The organization runs after‑school and adult programs plus social enterprises (café, bakery, print/embroidery) to create hands‑on training and employment pathways.

MISSION UMOM’s mission is to prevent and end homelessness with innovative strategies and housing solutions that meet the unique needs of each family and individual. VISION Our vision is to be a leader in breaking the cycle of homelessness.

Sharing and Caring Hands is a compassionate response to the needs of the poor. We are set up to be a safety-net organization to help with whatever needs are not being met. This includes but is not limited to providing meals, clothing, showers, shelter, transportation help, rent deposits, rent help, medical assistance, dental care, furniture, school expenses, and other miscellaneous needs. Sharing and Caring Hands provides these with dignity, while affirming God’s love for all his people regardless of their circumstances. We reaffirm the self-worth of each individual and want to assist in that person reaching his or her greatest potential. Sharing and Caring Hands is an extension of the community to the desperate needs of the poor and exists as a vehicle for volunteers to commit their time and resources towards making a difference in the lives of others. Sharing and Caring Hands stands as an emotional anchor and a beacon of hope to those who are alone, afraid, or in need.

The Mustard Seed is a Catholic Worker house of hospitality in Worcester that follows the example of Dorothy Day. It operates a daily/weekday evening meal program and offers small immediate assistance (for example bus fare, clothing, short-term housing help and similar services), while fostering community prayer and volunteer involvement to support local people experiencing poverty and homelessness.

Prudence Crandall Center is dedicated to helping individuals achieve lives free of domestic violence by providing care, advocacy, support, and education.

The TaTa Sisterhood Foundation supports women diagnosed with triple‑negative breast cancer by providing emotional, practical, and financial assistance (care packages, connections, and short‑term aid) while also fundraising to support TNBC research.

Youth & Family Counseling is a nonprofit mental-health agency that provides affordable, culturally sensitive counseling and therapy to children, teens, adults, couples, and families in Lake County; it seeks to expand access to quality behavioral-health care (including sliding-scale and bilingual services) so community members can cope, heal, and thrive.

Community of Care helps older adults in rural Cass County remain safely in their homes by coordinating services, volunteer transportation, health-related supports (including Medicare Part D assistance), and community partnerships. Its programs focus on care coordination, volunteer-driven support, and education—provided free of charge to clients.

The goal of Blessing Bags of Warmth For The Homeless is to encourage self-worth in our unhoused, and under housed, community. This is done with personal face to face contact in, and around, the community. Offering the simplest of basic necessities, from personal hygiene to clothing, is beginning to show that a little human to human compassion is immense in building ones self-esteem.Another part of our outreach is helping in emergency housing insufficiency situations. For example a mother and small children that were living in a vehicle needed food and personal hygiene products. These funds are used to provide those items right away.Now that we have established a 501c3, we want to build a stronger financial foundation so that we can continue to offer these services on a grander scale.

Homeless Children’s Network provides trauma‑informed mental health, case management, and family support to children, youth, and families affected by homelessness and domestic violence in San Francisco. They aim to reduce the impacts of trauma, empower families, and strengthen collaborative services to help end homelessness and poverty.
