Britepaths provides our neighbors in need with short-term safety-net services and empower them to work toward long-term self-sufficiency. Since 1984, Britepaths has been a dedicated leader in developing sustainable solutions meeting the challenges faced by families in financial crisis in Northern Virginia through emergency food and financial assistance, financial empowerment, workforce development, and supports for children. We strive to provide help and hope for 8,000 families and individuals annually, who live from paycheck-to-paycheck, where unexpected expenses can send them spiraling from self-sufficiency to the brink of homelessness. Our services rely on the amazing work of approximately 450 volunteers working over 5,000 hours.

Catalyst Foundation works with ethnic minority families in rural Vietnam to build communities and prevent human trafficking.

El Grupo is a youth cycling organization that provides empowering and fun skill-building activities on the bike resulting in self-confidence and leadership skills to be active and healthy members of the community. Our mission is to empower youth through bicycles. We aim to instill life-long healthy habits and build character and camaraderie through bicycle riding, racing, and outreach. Through our programs, we are getting youth on bikes, and they in turn are teaching, inspiring, and empowering other youth to ride, enjoy, and love bikes. Through donations from the community, El Grupo provides all the equipment necessary for kids to enjoy cycling. With financial support from grants and individual donors, we offer our programs at no to low cost, eliminating the barrier to entry.

Originally started by the Harbor Area YWCA, our mission is to provide shelter and support to anyone impacted by domestic violence, empowering them to move beyond trauma, towards safety & stability. Established in 1983, we have been serving the community for more than 40 years. Our programs are inclusive and help all survivors build healthy, safe, violence-free lives. We serve Los Angeles County with a Harbor Area/South Bay focus. Most of our clients have low/no incomes. We provide all services in Spanish and English. We work to improve the quality of life for survivors, and to prevent future acts of domestic violence through prevention education.

Founded in 1976, Sunshine Foundation’s sole purpose is to answer the dreams of chronically ill, seriously ill, physically challenged and abused children ages three to eighteen, whose families cannot fulfill their requests due to financial strain that the child’s illness may cause. We answer dreams to children with life-long chronic conditions from income-limited families.

One SAFE Place provides legal services, safety, and emotional support to intimate partners, children, and seniors affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. Together, we will work toward a future where everyone in our community feels strong, healthy, and safe at home.

HopeKids provides ongoing events, activities, and a powerful, unique support community for families who have a child (ages 0-18) diagnosed with cancer or other life-threatening medical condition. We surround these children and families with the message that "HOPE can be a Powerful Medicine".

Fraser is Minnesota's largest and most experienced provider of autism services. Fraser also provides services for mental health and other developmental disabilities for children and adults with special needs through healthcare, education and housing. Our programs are nationally recognized for their high quality, innovation, and individualized, family-centered approach.

The mission of Literacy Volunteers of Somerset County (LVSC) is to promote literacy throughout the community by providing student-centered tutoring and literacy programs for adults so that they may function more effectively in their daily lives. Our mission is founded on the belief that the ability to read and communicate in English is imperative to leading a productive life, and is essential for the protection of individual freedom and equality of all people.
