THE MISSION OF THE USTA FOUNDATION IS TO BRING TENNIS AND EDUCATION TOGETHER TO CHANGE LIVES Using this powerful combination, we help serve up dreams for under-resourced youth. The USTA Foundation is a 501 c(3) charitable organization incorporated in 1994 as the philanthropic entity of the United States Tennis Association (USTA). USTA Foundation uses the sport of tennis as a vehicle to help under-resourced youth become more engaged in school and learning with the goal of succeeding in tennis and in life. To that end, we support programs nationwide that leverage tennis and education to help those in need, primarily through the National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL) network. The NJTL network features more than 270 chapters that reach over 130,000 youth on an annual basis, providing free or low-cost tennis and education programming to the 50 largest markets in the U.S. - nurturing future leaders and enabling kids in need to succeed on the court, in the classroom and in life. Our efforts are making a difference. To date, we have awarded more than $64 million in program services, grants and scholarships to hundreds of programs, benefitting thousands of children and adults through tennis, education and health curricula. HIAS stands for a world in which refugees find welcome, safety, and freedom. We rescue people whose lives are in danger for being who they are. We protect the most vulnerable refugees, helping them build new lives and reuniting them with their families in safety and freedom. We advocate for the protection of refugees and assure that displaced people are treated with the dignity they deserve. Guided by our Jewish values and history, we bring more than 130 years of expertise to our work with refugees.

First Tee - Delaware is a nonprofit youth development organization that uses golf as the vehicle to teach life skills and character enhancing values to kids ages 7-18. Through our school, on-course, and community programs we impacts the lives of over 30,000 kids annually in Delaware and four neighboring Maryland counties.

THE BARRACUDA FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO CREATING EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES IN SPORT FOR WOMEN, MINORITIES AND ADAPTIVE SPORT ATHLETES.

The mission of Casting for Recovery (CfR) is to enhance the quality of life of women with breast cancer through a unique program that combines breast cancer education and peer support with the therapeutic sport of fly fishing. The retreats offer opportunities for women to find inspiration, discover renewed energy for life and experience healing connections with other women and nature. CfR’s retreats are open to breast cancer survivors of all ages, in all stages of treatment and recovery, and are free to participants. On a physical level, the gentle, rhythmic motion of fly casting is similar to exercises often prescribed after surgery or radiation to promote soft tissue stretching. On an emotional level, women are given the opportunity to experience a new activity in a safe environment amongst a supportive group of peers. The retreats provide resources to help address quality of life issues after a breast cancer diagnosis, and a new outlet – fly fishing – as a reprieve from the everyday stresses and challenges of their cancer.

Mercy House exists to engage, empower and disciple women around the globe in Jesus’ name. We provide for the rescue of pregnant girls in Kenya and provide a home for them. We empower their families and many others with dignified work so we can redeem future generations. We do this by engaging those with resources to say yes to the plight of women in poverty by empowering women around the world through partnerships and sustainable fair trade product development.

COMMUNITY HELP IN PARK SLOPE, INC. ("CHIPS") IS A NONSECTARIAN, VOLUNTARY, COMMUNITY-BASED NEW YORK NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION CHARTERED IN 1977. ITS MISSION IS TWOFOLD: TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND TEMPORARY HOUSING TO NEW AND EXPECTANT MOTHERS, AND TO FEED THOSE IN NEED THROUGH THEIR FOOD PANTRY AND SOUP KITCHEN.

Leading the fight to end hunger, in partnership with our community and in service of our neighbors in need. Each month, 1 in 4 residents turn to the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano for emergency and supplemental food. Many of our neighbors are unable to make ends meet and the Food Bank helps them cover one of life’s basic needs — nutritious food. We strive to serve all people experiencing hunger or food insecurity in Solano and Contra Costa counties and commit to never turn anyone away.

3Generations is a storytelling organization. We support those who have suffered crimes against humanity by enabling them to share their stories. Told in their own words, survivors’ stories cross borders, conflicts and generations. We believe storytelling fosters the healing process and illuminates our common humanity. Hearing survivors’ stories allows people everywhere to better understand the violence and oppression in the world today and demand change. We utilize available technology and distribution channels to collect and share survivors’ stories.
