Founded by Dr. Hadiyah-Nicole Green, the Ora Lee Smith Cancer Research Foundation is on a mission to change the way cancer is treated and reduce cancer-patient suffering by providing a treatment that is accessible, affordable, and, most importantly, effective. Despite all of modern and alternative medicine’s best approaches, nearly 9 million cancer-related deaths occur every year due to cost, access, and efficacy of current treatment options. Dr. Green has developed a new arsenal in the war on cancer, Laser-Activated Nano-Therapy (LANT). After a single 10-minute treatment, LANT completely eliminates tumors in laboratory mice in just 15 days, without any observable side effects. Limited by funding, not technological advancements, LANT is ready for human trials. The purpose of the Ora Lee Smith Cancer Research Foundation is to move LANT beyond the laboratory and into humans, independent of the pharmaceutical industry with tax-deductible donations. The core ideas that underpin the mission of Ujyalo Foundation are: Innovation, Gender Inclusive Leadership, and Social Enterprise. Based on these core ideas, Ujyalo Foundation's mission is "to empower communities through technologies, innovation, social enterprise, and gender inclusive leadership, collaboratively locally and globally". We strongly believe that the best way to create sustainable development in any community is by investing in its young women. With initiatives like EmpowHER, and Women Leadership Summit, we provide safe platforms for young women to enhance their leadership skills, explore their unique selves as leaders in their communities, and develop their ideas into potential livelihood opportunities in Nepal. These programs give women a safe space to learn and lead without any social stigma or fear of discrimination. After going through our programs, our women have become confident, independent leading their ideas in different capacities, and creating their own strong collectives of young women. After leading these initiatives for two years and working with 1600 young women, we have discovered just how much such an effort can contribute in the advancement of young women and their causes, especially in a society driven by patriarchy. We want young women in Nepal to believe that a space where young women can lead fearlessly on the basis of their merit and idea, not their gender is possible. Our vision is to create a world where young women can live, learn and lead without any prejudice and discrimination, and have men as the champions to promote women safety and leadership.

PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE TECHNICAL, SCIENTIFIC, AND ARTISTIC SKILLS THROUGH INDIVIDUAL PROJECTS, SOCIAL COLLABORATION, AND EDUCATION

SOLE Colombia aims to transform the future of learning in Colombia by empowering thousands of educators, librarians and community leaders with the SOLE methodology. We do this by making use of existing computers and internet in public places and designing strategies for self-organized learning to be widely practiced throughout the country, analyzing its ability to transform communities and consolidating a community of SOLE Ambassadors and network of volunteers to encourage learning. The aim is to stimulate curiosity and creativity, technological fluidity, collaboration, self-direction, critical thinking, communication skills, global connections and generally, have fun. Our main goal is to scale this project so that it can reach more than 1,400 public libraries, more than 42,000 public schools and more than 8,000 public kiosks throughout the country, as well as participate from the peace-building process reaching hundreds of rural communities affected by the civil conflict.
