AHF was founded over 30 years ago to help people in the Himalaya who were in need and had no one else, and that principle still guides us every day. Kupona Foundation was created in 2009 to support Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT). Kupona and CCBRT's mission is to prevent disability and maternal and neonatal mortality and morbidity and to provide equitable access to affordable, quality medical and rehabilitative services. With a direct link to local activities, Kupona ensures maximum return on donor investment and programmatic benefit for CCBRT and its patients and clients. Supporting development of CCBRT's new maternal and neonatal health facility is a priority for Kupona Foundation.

The BKFA works with organisations and communities to provide a clean birthing environment for women in developing countries in order to reduce the incidence of infant and maternal mortality. The Bharath Abhyudaya Seva Samithi (BASS), An Indian Progresssive Service Society, is a registered non-governmental Voluntary organization established in 1978. BASS seeks to improve the livelihoods of children, youth, women and vulnerable people include sick people, -those who are at the highest risk due to challenging socio-economic conditions. BASS works to bring relief and opportunity to rural and urban communities negatively impacted by poverty. The activities of the organization seek to promote social justice, equality and empowerment to disadvantaged peoples and victims of disasters in the Guntur district. BASS facilitates many activities including: educational, economic, social, health care and emergency relief and rehabilitation services.

Our mission is to improve on healthcare delivery services from the grassroots level by increased awareness of basic hygienic systems.
