Provides a wonderful home environment, a Christian education,ministering and counseling for abused and neglected children, admitted from age 6 to 14. The children may remain until they graduate from our ACSI K-12 accredited school.

The Office of Public Guardian, Inc. , (OPG) serves adults with mental and/or physical disabilities as their court-appointed legal guardian when they are incapable of managing some or all of their affairs. The Office of Public Guardian, Inc. was established to act as a substitute decision-maker for those persons in the big bend area who are functionally impaired to the extent that they require the protection of court intervention. The OPG provides quality public assistance in the form of guardianship services to vulnerable adults adjudicated incapacitated who have no family, friends, or resources to obtain a private guardian. Through the provision of public guardianship services and under the direction of the court, the OPG strives to: enhance quality of life, employ “substituted judgment,” acting as the person would have when making decisions in their best interests, protect against abuse, neglect and exploitation, and safeguard and exercise the fundamental civil rights of the people we serve guardianship is a serious step! Just because the person has a disability does not mean he or she needs a guardian. Guardianship is inappropriate if there are other alternatives such as a durable power of attorney, medical proxy, public benefits’ representative, etc.

The mission of Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV) is to end the crime of intimate partner violence and empower its survivors; our vision is a community free of domestic violence. To that end we work to educate the public on the dynamics of intimate partner violence; promote healthy dating relationships among adolescents and teens to prevent future violence; offer safety and shelter for battered women and their children; restore power, self-sufficiency, and control to survivors; and create an effective and coordinated community response to intimate partner violence.

Family Advocates works to strengthen families ​​and keep kids safe by empowering everyday people to protect and enrich the lives of youth.

The mission of the Center Against Rape and Domestic Violence is twofold: * to provide services and support to those affected by sexual and domestic violence, and * to provide education and leadership within the community to change the societal conditions that cultivate these forms of violence.

Lassen Family Services, Inc. is a domestic violence/ sexual assault crisis agency committed to ending abuse in our community through Prevention, Healing, Advocacy, Safety, Education, compassionate intervention, and effective partnerships with local community and social service agencies that will support and empower the participant’s journey to success.

Since 1953, the mission of their shelter has been to provide a haven for Huron county residents to safely surrender their animals when unforeseen circumstances come up. We accept dogs, cats, and other domesticated animals. We are unable to accept stray or outdoor cats and all stray or lost dogs must go to the Huron County Dog Warden. CASA/GAL OF GALLATIN COUNTY IS DEDICATED TO PROMOTING AND PROTECTING THE BEST INTEREST OF CHILDREN INVOLVED IN THE EIGHTEENTH JUDICIAL COURT SYSTEM WHO HAVE BEEN ABUSED AND NEGLECTED, BY TRAINING COMMITTED VOLUNTEERS TO EFFECTIVELY ADVOCATE FOR THESE CHILDREN IN THE COURTS, SCHOOLS AND OUR COMMUNITY WHILE HELPING TO ENSURE THEY HAVE A SAFE, PERMANENT AND LOVING HOME.
