The Coalition Against Trafficking in Women (CATW) is one of the oldest international organizations working to end the trafficking and sexual exploitation of women and girls. Through an approach rooted in women’s rights and human rights principles, we advocate for strong laws and policies, raise public awareness and support survivor leadership.

EarthRights is a nongovernmental, nonprofit organization that combines the power of law and the power of people in defense of human rights and the environment, which we define as “earth rights.” We specialize in fact-finding, legal actions against perpetrators of earth rights abuses, training grassroots and community leaders, and advocacy campaigns. Through these strategies, EarthRights seeks to end earth rights abuses, to provide real solutions for real people, and to promote and protect human rights and the environment in the communities where we work.

Women's Resource Center (WRC) is dedicated to stopping domestic violence and sexual assault by rebuilding lives together. We believe ALL people deserve to live a life free from the crimes of domestic violence and sexual assault. Those who are victims of these crimes should have access to services that assist them in recovering from their trauma and moving forward in their lives. WRC is dedicated to providing the highest quality supportive services, counseling, shelter and education to women, men and children involved in or threatened by domestic violence or sexual assault.

How Women Lead is a national organization of top executive women focused on activating their individual and collective power to influence the change they want to see in the world through leadership, investment and philanthropy. The goal for How Women Lead is to achieve equity for women -- and particularly women of color -- by driving representation and opportunities across all aspects of life and career. How Women Lead advocates for top executive women by affecting change at all levels through a proven, four-step strategy: by affecting systems reform, mobilizing a movement, offering training, and giving access to opportunities. Founded in 1993, Los Angeles Waterkeeper’s mission is to protect and restore Santa Monica Bay, San Pedro Bay, and adjacent waters through enforcement, fieldwork, and community action. We work to achieve this goal through litigation and regulatory programs that ensure water quality protections in waterways throughout L.A. County. LA Waterkeeper’s Litigation & Advocacy, Marine, and Water Quality teams conduct interconnected projects that serve this mission.

RainCatcher is a non-profit organization that’s committed to help 1 percent of the 1 billion people without access to clean drinking water in the next 5 years changing 10 Million lives forever.

PTV works to alleviate the suffering and health consequences of state-sponsored torture, and provides the supportive framework necessary to restore the well-being, identity, and dignity of survivors of torture. We accomplish our mission by providing medical, psychological, and case management services to survivors of torture and asylum seekers from all over the world. PTV's clients are victims of state-sponsored, paramilitary, or tribal violence whose only 'crime' was to belong to a particular tribe, clan, political party, social group, or religion. We also serve victims of female genital mutilation, rape, trafficking, and sexual preference persecution. As the only torture treatment program in the Greater Los Angeles, an area that is home to the largest population of refugees and asylum seekers in the United States, PTV serves clients come from 65 countries in Africa, Latin America, the Middle east, and Asia.

The South Africa Development Fund is a tax-exempt public charity directed by South Africans who have a vast knowledge of the issues in their country and strong ties to the United States. Since 1985, the organization has facilitated cooperation between concerned Americans and South Africans to enhance social and economic justice in South Africa. SADF works in partnership with organizations that promote grassroots activism and provide services and resources to communities disadvantaged by decades of apartheid policies. The organization is particularly committed to projects that provide services and opportunities for the next generation of South Africans. Formerly known as Fund for a Free South Africa (FreeSA).
