The services, programs and projects of CCF exist to eliminate individual and structural barriers to higher education, economic security, long term stability, and civic participation for women who have criminal convictions (including those currently and formerly incarcerated) and their families. CCF guides women seeking to reclaim their lives through the stages of higher education while promoting their leadership, self-advocacy, artistic expression, and long term success.

Girls Educational and Mentoring Services (GEMS) mission is to empower girls and young women, ages 12-24, who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation and domestic trafficking to exit the commercial sex industry and develop to their full potential.  GEMS is committed to ending commercial sexual exploitation and domestic trafficking of children by changing individual lives, transforming public perception, and revolutionizing the systems and policies that impact sexually exploited youth.

The mission of Women Employed is to improve the economic status of women and remove barriers to economic equity. Women Employed has one passion: to make life better for working women. We believe that all women deserve full and fair economic opportunities. That means better career options and higher pay, more opportunities for training and education, and strict enforcement of fair employment laws. Women Employed is a leading national advocate for women's economic advancement. We analyze workplace issues, educate policy makers, and build support to improve opportunities and incomes. Since 1973, Women Employed has fought to outlaw pay discrimination, pregnancy discrimination and sexual harassment and to strengthen federal equal opportunity policies and work/family benefits.

Henrico CASA is a nonprofit organization committed to advocating for the best interests of children involved in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court process. The CASA program recruits, trains, and supervises competent volunteers dedicated to representing the needs of abused and neglected children, as well as other children in juvenile dependency proceedings. CASA promotes safe, permanent homes for all children and seeks to educate the community concerning the needs of abused and neglected children.

Soroptimist is dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in our local communities and throughout the world.  Founded in 1921, Soroptimist International of the Americas (SIA) is an international organization for business and professional women who provide volunteer service to their communities. About 35,000 Soroptimists in 20 countries and territories contribute time and financial support to community-based and international projects benefiting women and girls. SIA is part of Soroptimist International, which comprises almost 85,000 members in about 120 countries. The name Soroptimist means "best for women," and that's what the organization strives to achieve. Soroptimists are women at their best working to help other women to be their best. Soroptimist members belong to local clubs, which determine the focus of service to their communities. The Raleigh Club is focused on improving the economic independence of women and ending violence against women.  In addition, Soroptimists participate in organization-wide programs that include the Soroptimist Women's Opportunity Awards, Soroptimist Club Grants for Women and Girls, the Soroptimist Workplace Campaign to End Domestic Violence, the Soroptimist Ruby Award: For Women Helping Women, and the Soroptimist Violet Richardson Award.  International projects have included partnerships with Women for Women International, and through Project SIerra, Hope and Homes for Children in Sierra Leone.

Gay For Good mobilizes lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ+) volunteers and allies to promote diversity, foster inclusion and strengthen ties to the broader communities where we live and work. We aim to increase LGBTQ+ visibility and representation, cultivate understanding, and build positive relationships between diverse groups of people, while helping the environment, animals and people in need through acts of service and kindness. To carry out our mission, Gay For Good provides training and resources to community leaders who plan and lead inclusive group volunteer experiences for LGBTQ+ people, allies and others to volunteer together, network and have fun in twenty-one chapter cities, and growing. Gay For Good was founded in 2008 and has a proven track record of success. Day One partners with youth to end dating abuse and domestic violence through preventive education, supportive services, legal advocacy and leadership development. Since 2003, Day One has educated more than 40,000 youth and adults about healthy relationships and preventing relationship abuse. Our direct services include individual and group counseling, legal assistance and advocacy projects for young people, 24 years of age and under.  

Preventing teen dating violence through awareness, education, and advocacy. Our 'Gaming Against Violence' program is an award-winning and evidence-based approach to violence prevention through prosocial games. We produce, publish, and research intentionally designed prosocial games to engage, educate, and empower young people about important issues affecting them. The topics addressed by these games include bystander awareness, consent, cultural literacy, gaslighting, healthy relationships, media literacy, power and control, resilience, and teen dating violence warning signs. Jennifer Ann's Group does this work in memory of Jennifer Crecente.

The mission of Phoenix Crisis Center is to empower persons impacted by domestic violence to live safely and free from further violence.

Middle Way House works to support all survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking; and to educate the community through outreach and prevention programs.

To equip disenfranchised youth and their families with the leadership and advocacy skills needed to strengthen and sustain the community in which they live. Voice of Witness is a non-profit organization that uses oral history to illuminate contemporary human rights crises in the U.S. and around the world. Founded by author Dave Eggers and physician/human rights scholar Lola Vollen, Voice of Witness publishes a book series that depicts human rights injustices through the stories of the men and women who experience them. The Voice of Witness Education Program brings these stories, and the issues they reflect, into high schools and impacted communities through oral history-based curricula and holistic educator support.
