1. To establish a set of activities for the ongoing support of community projects targeted to the poor and disadvantaged of all castes and creeds in the Bodhgaya region of Bihar, India. 2. These projects should include: (a) Supporting the education of children in need (b) Establishment of educational institutions for children in need (c) Establishment of vocational learning centres (d) Establishment of self help groups for individuals to develop their own businesses, with particular focus on women (e) To encourage seminars for women's development and self empowerment (f) To raise the self-esteem and self-reliance of the communities involved.

ACE is a Non-Governmental, Non-Profit Organization based in Japan that address the issues of child labour around the world.There are 168 million children around the world who cannot receive an education and are in danger of injury or disease because of hazardous labour. We take action for the abolition and prevention of Child Labor with the citizens in Japan, and in our project areas. Our projects are in Japan, India, and Ghana. In recent years, Child labor is a great concern in the world. Kailash Satyarthi, who is the founder of the Global March Against Child Labor, which inspired the creation of ACE, received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014. "Sustainable Development Goals" adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015, targets an end to child labor by 2025. Since worldwide 60% of all child laborers work in agriculture, we focus on the Cocoa and Cotton industries. We operate not only through International cooperation activity, but also by collaborating with private corporations, and engaging in consumer education, to find solutions to the issue in Japan.

Karuna Deutschland is committed towards ending caste-based discrimination, dedicating efforts for poverty-alleviation, and ensuring equality in India and Nepal. Our mission is to serve individuals and families of the poorest communities in India and Nepal. The women and children as well as people from lower cast backgrounds come under the most vulnerable population in India and Nepal. The former "untouchable" castes are still suffering from social exclusion and violence and also form the largest chunk of 'ultra-poor' in these countries. It is extremely difficult for them to access healthcare, education, housing and a dignified livelihood. Dalit women and girls particularly are subjected to gender-based violence and exclusion. Although caste-based discrimination has no legal premises, the stigma attached to the lower castes in India and Nepal hinder their dignified participation in all spheres of life. They are pushed further behind by a variety of forces such as existing discrimination, inequality, poverty, illiteracy etc. Therefore, we endeavour to remove the root causes of discrimination, exclusion and poverty. We seek to run our projects and activities based on the principle of inclusion, justice, diversity and equality in order to drive a positive as well as holistic change at the community level. The foundation of our work lies in engendering a dignified life for the people; helping them build a better future for themselves as well as empowering them to take their destiny into their own hands. To elicit lasting solutions to the problems we intend to address, our approach is based upon self-help, self-determination and self-reliance at the community level. The principle of 'leaving no one behind' as mentioned in the Sustainable development goals is enshrined in our core values. Changes often happen at the local level. Creative and innovative solutions are pertinent to reach our goals. Our activities are thus built upon a wealth of local skills and knowledge. We seek to understand the vulnerabilities, strengths and needs of our target groups. Evidence based approach rooted in in-depth analysis, research of ground needs and realities is extremely important for us to promote accountability and responsibility. The Habitat International Coalition (HIC) is the global network for rights related to habitat. Through solidarity, networking and support for social movements and organizations, HIC struggles for social justice, gender equality, and environmental sustainability, and works in the defense, promotion and realization of human rights related to housing and land in both rural and urban areas.

Our mission is to develop and support people in need, in particular children and women in poor countries like Nepal and people in India living below poverty line. We develop our project strategies on our own together with local partners. In India e.g. we set in place a comprehensive, focused and tailored program in order to transform the society. The strategy is focused on children and women. For children we offer child emergency services, child care services and Skill Development and a Women empowerment program including Skill Development. This unique strategy perfectly fits together and will have a significant impact on the people in this area. We have a clear view on what is achievable and we only start programs with a high probability of success. Less is more is one of our principle. We do not want to run projects which are too big and only a few ones. Our aim is to run all projects as long-term projects, i.e. at least 25+ years.
