Fox Chase's mission is to reduce the burden of human cancer through the pursuit of knowledge in basic biological research; to conduct research specifically related to cancer causes, prevention, and treatment; and to apply this knowledge to the prevention of cancer and the treatment of cancer patients. Fox Chase has the oldest and third-largest cancer center support grant from the National Cancer Institute and is the oldest cancer specialty hospital in the nation. In January 2000, Fox Chase opened the nation's first facility devoted to comprehensive cancer prevention research. Child Magazine has ranked The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia the best pediatric hospital in the United States for the third consecutive time. From the website: "American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities (ALSAC) was founded by Danny Thomas in 1957 to be the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and its sole mission is to raise the funds and awareness necessary to operate and maintain the hospital. In the years ahead, an estimated 89% of the funds necessary to sustain and grow St. Jude must be raised by ALSAC from generous donors."

Portneuf Health Care Foundation's mission is to enhance and improve health in southeast Idaho and surrounding areas. Our organizational focus is:   1) Building and strengthening Portneuf Medical Center.   2) Investing in the promotion of health in our region through organized, thoughtful stewardship.   Together with our partners LHP Hospital Group,  the Portneuf Health Care Foundation owns Portneuf Medical Center. This joint venture governance model provides the benefits of local governance through the Foundation, and the benefits and expertise of a national leader in hospital management and capital through LHP.  We believe this joint ownership and governance structure to be the most effective governance structure in hospitals today.

RMF’s founding in 2005 was based on a disaster relief initiative providing immediate relief to the victims of the December 2004 Tsunami in Southeast Asia, and over the years has continued providing relief to the victims of disasters in Pakistan, Kenya, Mozambique, Myanmar/Burma, Peru, Haiti, Japan, Phillippines, Nepal, South Sudan and the United States.  Always striving to be fast, lean, and effective, RMF works hand in hand with local populations to ensure aid goes where it is needed most. Many of our disaster relief projects have turned into successful longer term development projects as we always aim to stay until we leave a sustainable impact, build capacity and are not needed anymore.

Hackley School is an independent, college-preparatory, non-sectarian, day and boarding school for students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. Founded in 1899, it became co-educational in 1970. Hackley challenges students to grow in character, scholarship and accomplishment, to offer unreserved effort, and to learn from our community's varying perspectives and backgrounds. Hackley believes that students will grow in character and responsibility by participating in structured activity that serves the needs of people outside the spheres of home and school. By committing their energy, time, and imagination to serving those needs, students can experience the satisfaction of helping others and can gain some appreciation of the complexity and concerns of the larger community.
