BlaqOut's mission is to create a community where Black LGBTQ+ people are connected and supported, have access to safe spaces, and enjoy sufficient resources to help them thrive. Our mission is summarized in this mantra and emblazoned on our hearts: Our lives. Our health. Our way. BlaqOut's vision is a world where all Black LGBTQ+ persons live with dignity and are free from racial injustice and health inequity.

It is the mission of Little Friends to empower children and adults with special challenges to live, learn, work and participate in the community. Since 1965, Little Friends has been dedicated to serving people with disabilities in our community. We are a local organization--based in Naperville, Illinois and serving families from throughout six counties in the western suburbs. But our influence extends far beyond the Chicago area. More than 50 school districts turn to us for assistance with some of their most challenging students. Families from all over Illinois attend our training for parents of children with autism. National conferences feature our staff as speakers. It is an honor for us to be able to share what we've learned with other professionals and families.

Mission: The Center for Youth provides comprehensive programs and services from prevention education to counseling to emergency shelter to youth development opportunities with respect for and full participation of youth. Star of Hope is a Christ-centered community dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless men, women and their children. Positive life changes are encouraged through structured programs which focus on spiritual growth, education, employment, life management and recovery from substance abuse.

The mission of El Rio Community Health Center is to improve the health of our community through comprehensive, accessible, affordable, quality and compassionate care. El Rio Foundation raises support for programs, services to patients and capital needs of the health center.

NC MedAssist is a nonprofit pharmacy program providing access to lifesaving prescription medications, patient support, advocacy and related services to poor, vulnerable, and uninsured North Carolina residents.
