Our mission is to improve the health and quality of life for all people of the greater Pajaro Valley, especially the most disenfranchised. We do this by working “upstream” (before health problems occur or worsen) to help prevent future disease through education and disease prevention, as well as “downstream” (where problems require immediate intervention or treatment) to meet the most acute need for access to quality, culturally responsive services. In all our work, we collaborate with community members and agencies and rely on data to guide our decisions. In this way, we aim to pass on stronger systems and healthier lifestyles to future generations of Pajaro Valley residents.

Our Mission Through grassroots education, advocacy and direct services, Breathe California fights lung disease, advocates for clean air, and advances public health. Our Vision Communities empowered to eliminate the causes and burden of lung disease, promote clean air and improve public health. Our Theory of Change We believe the Breathe CA comprehensive approach of direct services, advocacy, and education, increases knowledge, confidence and ability in lung health management & treatment, resulting in lower rates of morbidity and mortality, and advancing health equity.

American Muslim Health Professionals (AMHP) is a non-profit organization with an outreach of over 7000 health professionals and students working to leverage the educational background and skills of Muslims in the health care sector to improve the health of Americans.

Through education and advocacy, PHLUSH helps local governments and citizen groups to provide equitable public restroom availability and to prepare for a pipe-breaking seismic event with appropriate ecological toilet systems. Our Vision Toilet availability is a human right and well-designed sanitation systems restore health to our cities, our waters and our soils.

Nothing But Nets is a global grassroots campaign to raise awareness, funds, and voices to fight malaria. In 2006, sports columnist Rick Reilly wrote a column in Sports Illustrated challenging each of his readers to donate at least $10 to send insecticide-treated bed nets to protect families from malaria-carrying mosquitoes.

The Tivoli Fund supports organizations with a focus on improving lives. This fund will split donations evenly between No Dogs Left Behind, One Mission, World Central Kitchen, GLAD, and One Tree Planted. No Dogs Left Behind is a leader in global animal rescue. Through international alliances and local resources, we engage in every step of rescue. From emergency response to dog adoption, No Dogs Left Behind stands by our survivors every step of the way. One Mission programs make living in the hospital less lonely and stressful, bring back joy in a time of fear and uncertainty, and give kids and their loved ones the support they need to get through the emotional and financial challenges of treatment. World Central Kitchen uses the power of food to nourish communities and strengthen economies through times of crisis and beyond. Through strategic litigation, public policy advocacy, and education, GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders (GLAD) works in New England and nationally to create a just society free of discrimination based on gender identity and expression, HIV status, and sexual orientation. The mission of the Sophia Sunshine Foundation is to bring joy and connectivity into the universe through various acts of kindness that empower children experiencing adversity, especially those battling pediatric cancer. Sophia’s love for horses, dogs, dance, music, art, books, golf and tennis brought her a tremendous amount of joy and laughter, even during her most challenging weeks. Through the Sophia Sunshine Foundation, we want to help others experience that joy and heart-mind well-being through activities such as equine therapy, service dog sponsorship and literacy outreach. We also support pediatric cancer research towards a cure for DIPG.

To engage and educate children with autism by creating and providing innovative tools that foster positive change and help children reach developmental milestones.
