MSG was founded in 2013 with the goal of preventing waterborne diseases through WASH education by putting local community members at the center of driving changes in public health. Our mission revolves around a model of participatory development that involves community members in all aspects of our work.

Through education and advocacy, PHLUSH helps local governments and citizen groups to provide equitable public restroom availability and to prepare for a pipe-breaking seismic event with appropriate ecological toilet systems. Our Vision Toilet availability is a human right and well-designed sanitation systems restore health to our cities, our waters and our soils.

Hope Loves Company is the only nonprofit in the U.S. dedicated to providing emotional and educational support to children and young adults who have or had a loved one battling Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) or Lou Gehrig's disease. As long as ALS exists, children need Hope Loves Company.

We will do this by assisting providers to improve the quality of care through evidenced-based process outcomes and add value to the community by providing for the individual. We seek to improve health outcomes, engagement and participation of care givers and the individual. We aim to provide tools, support and resources to empower patients to take a leadership role in their health by assisting in establishing care teams that demonstrate proactive rather than reactive patient care and improve workflow. We strive to build a cohesive system of a variety of services through programming to aid in navigating all the possibilities of an individual's health.

Founded in 2009, The Grassroot Project (TGP) uses the power of sports and the platform of athlete role models to educate, inspire, and mobilize youth to live healthy lives. We are a team of more than 1,000 NCAA varsity athletes and 5,000 DC teens who are committed to making our city healthier. The Grassroot Project capitalizes on the excitement, relatability, and popularity of sports to provide much-needed health literacy and social empowerment programs to DC teens. The only way for us to succeed is to believe in the power of youth to make a difference. In addition to providing health education to DC teens, we invest in the leadership training, cultural competency, and professional skills of hundreds of NCAA varsity athletes who serve as our program facilitators. Also known as Athletes United For Social Justice.

All-1- FAMily is a non-profit organization with the objective to provide a sense of family, belonging, mental health and stability for at-risk lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, gender non-conforming and queer youth and participant.
