Our Mission at Snowline is serving our community by supporting patients near end-of-life and guiding loved ones through grief. Snowline, established in 1979, is a nonprofit, community-based organization dedicated to to serving our community by enhancing the lives of those with chronic, serious illness, and patients nearing end-of-life. The care provided to patients and families is carried out by a Snowline Interdisciplinary team of professionals that includes physicians, registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, medical social workers, spiritual care providers, hospice aides and volunteers. The majority of Snowline's dedicated staff has earned the distinction of "Certified in Hospice and Palliative Care," an advance level of education.

These evidence-based modalities offer relief from the side effects of cancer and its treatments, and contribute to increased rates of survival and quality of life. They are rarely covered by insurance and are too costly for women living in poverty. Since 1991, CMC has provided integrative cancer care and health education free of charge to thousands of underserved women with cancer. Our vision is that all low-income women with cancer achieve the highest attainable health during their cancer journey.
