BC Children's Hospital Foundation raises money to support excellence and innovation in care, treatment and research and BC Children's Hospital, Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children and the Child & Family Research Institute. The Foundation's activities include major gift fundraising, planned giving and a wide variety of annual programs. As steward of philanthropic donations to Children's Hospital, Sunny Hill Health Centre and the Child & Family Research Institute, the Foundation issues charitable receipts and ensures donations are allocated to the areas to which donors have designated their support. The Foundation is currently engaged in the $200-million Campaign for BC Children to build a new children's hospital and ensure all BC children have access to a consistent standard of pediatric care.

The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada is a national voluntary non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the health of Canadians by preventing and reducing disability and death from heart disease and stroke through research, health promotion and advocacy. The Amyloidosis Research Consortium (ARC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to driving advances in the awareness, science, and treatment of amyloid diseases. ARC’s mission is to improve and extend the lives of those with amyloidosis. ARC is committed to collaborative efforts that accelerate the pace of discovery, expand patient access to the most effective care, and improve short- and long-term outcomes. Working with partners in industry, government, and academia, ARC seeks to spark innovation and to bring promising treatments from labs to clinics. ARC’s outreach and education inform and empower patients, families, caregivers, physicians, and researchers.

At Wellspring, people living with cancer tell us what helps them the most - having access to information, receiving support, and learning new ways to cope. They also tell us the cancer journey has two roads: medical and emotional. Individuals and their loved ones often have difficulty finding the emotional, psychological and practical support they so urgently require. The support provided by Wellspring becomes a vital complement to medical treatment. In Calgary, only Wellspring devotes itself exclusively to the unique non-medical needs that cancer presents. People with cancer, their families and friends can exchange information, develop a support system and create a sense of hope, in a warm, caring and welcoming atmosphere. Wellspring charges no fees. Its programs are available free to anyone living with any type of cancer at any stage. Programs include individual and group classes, coping skills, expressive therapies, energy work, educational workshops and a discussion series.

Anchor Center for Blind Children teaches visually impaired infants, young children and their families, providing hope and a nurturing environment where children reach their highest potential.

SOS Children's Villages supports orphans and vulnerable children in several ways. We provide long-term,family-based care in our SOS Villages for over 75,000 children and youth worldwide. Each child is welcomed into a loving family environment and a supportive community in which to grow. We provide the education, training and life skills to help them become active, empowered young adults. In addition, SOS works with communities to help prevent child abandonment and to aid families struggling with poverty and disease through our SOS Family Strengthening Programmes. SOS Children's Villages supports over 1,000,000 children and their families through these family strengthening programmes, our schools and medical centres.

CHC SERVES A NINE-COUNTY AREA IN NORTHERN INDIANA, INCLUDING ELKHART, FULTON, KOSCIUSKO, LAGRANGE, LA PORTE, MARSHALL, ST. JOSEPH, STARKE, AND PORTER COUNTIES. CHC'S MISSION IS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIVING THROUGHOUT NORTHERN INDIANA, AND OUR VISION IS TO BE THE PREMIERE HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE CARE ORGANIZATION FOR ALL END-OF-LIFE ISSUES. The Center for Hope Hospice provides terminally ill patients with the natural, humane care known as hospice and their families or loved ones with physical, emotional, and spiritual support during their time of need. The Center brings to its patients a new, caring quality of life that actively supports the individual's right to live out the remainder of their life with dignity and in comfort, surrounded by the love of family and friends, and eased from the burdens of distress be it physical, emotional, spiritual, financial or social.​ The Center provides family and loved ones with the opportunity to discover and embrace the gift of life as they journey through loss. The Center welcomes all terminally ill patients, their families and loved ones without concern for race, ethnicity, religious affiliation or ability to pay.

Wellspring is open to all cancer patients, their families and care givers, all of whom are known as members. Wellspring is welcoming and comfortable in nature, external to hospitals or treatment centres, and is devoid of any “institutional” feeling. Volunteers and group leaders providing programs at Wellspring deliver only cancer support services and not medical treatment or medical therapies, nor services for patients with diseases other than cancer. Wellspring receives no government funding and offers all programs and services at no charge to our members and without referral.
