Founded as a Presbyterian ministry in 1875, Thornwell Home for Children is a joyful christian community, offering hope and wholeness to children and families its goals are to provide loving homes for abused, abandoned and neglected child ren, to offer an opportunity for healing by providing proper healthcare and mental health counseling for every thornwell child, and to offer thorn well's child ren hope for a successful future by providing educational support and teaching self-advocacy.

We serve as a global leader and partner to eliminate corneal blindness.

Since 1964, West Ridge Academy (formerly known as the Utah Boys Ranch) has been helping struggling teens and bringing hope to young men, young women and their families. From the earliest days, the organization recognized the positive effect its program had on young men who were struggling academically, emotionally and socially. Today, the academy has served more than 25,000 students, has expanded to include separate and distinct campuses for boys and girls, and continues to bring hope and healing to families across the world.     The purpose of West Ridge Academy is simple: to send a child home with a change of heart. We are consistently able to do this by applying our foundational principles of Family, Spirituality, Integrity, Work, Service and Gratitude. With each student, a Master Treatment Plan is individually developed and implemented, created specifically for each student’s needs. Every Treatment Plan includes guidance and personal involvement from four teams including Therapists, Home Staff, Teachers and Spiritual Advisors.

United Hospice provides care, hope, comfort and improved quality of life to individuals and their families facing serious illness. We offer compassionate support to members of our community who have experienced the loss of a loved one. We lead the health and human services community in improving the provision of care to those affected by serious illness.

The mission of The Women's Home is to build communities that strengthen women and support families as they reclaim their stability. The Women's Home has worked to build whole lives in the Houston area since our creation in 1957. Our services focus on vulnerable households with a special emphasis on women and families. We have four unique programs -- a residential treatment program located near downtown, and two permanent housing programs and a collaborative service center in Spring Branch -- that offer tailored housing, behavioral health care, and wrap around support services to help women, children, and families build resilient lives.

We are building a world with ZERO deaths from tobacco. Thanks to dramatic reductions in smoking, that world – a world where cigarettes are no longer sold for profit – is within reach. Cigarettes are the only consumer good that kills when used as their manufacturer intends. This has become normal in our society, but it shouldn’t be. It’s time for cigarettes to be regulated in a way that is proportionate to the harm they cause.

Our national mission is to educate the American public as to the growing seriousness of Alzheimer's, Dementia and Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) in the American population by raising the necessary donations through strategic research initiatives and heightened public awareness to accomplish our objectives.   We are also dedicated to helping fund the necessary research to find a cure for both Alzheimer's and Dementia while promoting awareness, education, and research funding in the area of improved safety standards to prevent TBI (traumatic brain injury), potential precursors to Alzheimer's and Dementia.  

ChildServe is a not-for-profit organization that partners with families to help children with special health care needs live a great life. Originally founded in 1928 as a convalescent home for children, today ChildServe provides specialized pediatric health care services to more than 2,000 children in Iowa. Through the support of private insurance, public funds, and the philanthropic efforts of the ChildServe Foundation, ChildServe offers accessible, family-centered care unique to each child’s needs, hopes, and dreams. The Painted Turtle’s mission is to provide a year-round, life-changing environment and authentic camp experience for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. The Painted Turtle supports children’s medical needs, inspires them to reach beyond their illnesses, and provides care, education and respite for their families. All campers and families attend free of charge. Of the more than one million children in California with chronic and life-threatening illnesses, our needs assessment revealed more than 17,500 are unable to attend summer camp due to their medical conditions. That is, until we came along! The Painted Turtle provides these children and their families with an empowering, renewing experience completely free of charge. The Painted Turtle offers year-round programs including: Spring and Fall Family Weekends for the entire family, one-day family events, week-long Summer Sessions, and hospital/community outreach programs.  

We are starting a research department at Monroe Carell Jr Childrens Hospital at Vanderbilt for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.  We are raising money to fund research for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. We have 2 sons that were diagnosed in 2009 with this horrible disease.  We are searching for a cure for this disease which is 100% fatal by early 20's and crippling by age 12.

Hands of Hope Foundation is designed to operate and develop faith based communities that will function on a local, national, and international level to provide financial and/or direct assistance to individuals, families, and other organizations in meeting a wide variety of needs to include: short term housing, medical care, education assistance, drinkable water, food and clothing; as well as a place of respite for Ministers and their families. Offering Hope in Christ in the spirit of 1 Peter 3:15. Our current projects include: educational services in Liberia, Bulgaria, and Thailand. Medical clinic in Weala, Liberia. 5 new churches in Pattaya, Thailand.
