Crohn's and Colitis Canada is a national not-for-profit voluntary medical research Foundation. Its mission is to find the cure for inflammatory bowel disease. To achieve its mission, the Foundation is committed to raising increasing funds for medical research. November is Diabetes Awareness Month. Help us spread our message of diabetes management and prevention. The Canadian Diabetes Association works in communities across the country to promote the health of Canadians and eliminate diabetes through our strong nationwide network of volunteers, employees, healthcare professionals, researchers, partners and supporters. In the struggle against this global epidemic, our expertise is recognized around the world.

In the past year, The Food Bank of Waterloo Region, assisted approximately 28,000 neighbours in Waterloo Region. Yearly, The Food Bank distributes over 3 million pounds of food to community individuals who are facing challenging circumstances. Food is distributed through a partnership of 76 member agencies and community programs which provide emergency food hampers and meals. London Health Sciences Foundation (LHSF) is a charity accredited by Imagine Canada and the Better Business Bureau, dedicated to strengthening LHSC’s ability to provide the highest-quality health care to patients in London and throughout Southwestern Ontario. Donations to LHSF fund innovative equipment, research, education and enhanced patient care at LHSC, a teaching hospital and leader in medical research offering the broadest range of specialized clinical services in Ontario.

We provide safe, affordable, decent home ownership to deserving families in Barrie and South Simcoe. Our Restore recycles usable building products and materials diverting more than 40 tons of waste each year. Low-income families complete 500 hours of sweat equity toward their home and pay a no interest mortgage. They become tax-payers and engaged community citizens. Our ReStores and building projects engage more than 400 volunteers every year including students, Ontario Works participants, volunteers through the justice system and other community minded individuals. Thanks to Restore revenues, 100% of donations go directly to helping families in need get a hand up not a hand out.

The Alzheimer Society of B.C. is a non-profit provincial organization dedicated to helping people with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, to supporting caregivers, to promoting public awareness, and to funding research into finding the cause and the cure. We help people: By funding medical research to find the cause of this disease, and then the cure; Through our support groups for people diagnosed with Alzheimer's and related dementias, and our support groups for caregivers/family members; By providing information and materials about the disease to families, and the general public; By offering additional resources through our lending libraries; By holding public education programs such as information forums, research updates, and advocacy workshops; By creating public awareness and understanding of the disease, and the existence of the Society; and through our Web site located at http://www.alzheimerbc.org. The Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba is a self-help, peer support organization, offering on-site and phone peer support, education, and support groups to people living with mood disorders and their family, friends and loved ones. We also provdie on-site education for any persons, organizations, employers etc. who wish to know more about mood disorders, what they are, how they are treated, and how to assist persons with these disorders.

CAMH Foundation raises awareness and funds to transform lives at Canada's leading academic hospital specializing in mental health and addiction. We help the best and brightest minds provide innovative patient care and conduct insightful research to better understand, treat and prevent mental illness and addiction. Based in Toronto and networked around the world, CAMH also educates thousands of mental health professionals each year and develops informed public policy and health prevention strategies.

For more than 30 years Ronald McDonald House Toronto has been fulfilling its mission to provide a “home away from home” for seriously ill children and their families to heal better together. Ronald McDonald House Toronto offers a place for sleeping, schooling, working, cooking and playing. It also provides vital therapeutic programs that help sick children, their siblings and their parents get to a better place emotionally. More recently, Ronald McDonald House Toronto has expanded its mission to include the in-hospital Family Room Program.

The Canadian Congenital Heart Alliance (CCHA) is an organization made up of patients with a congenital heart defect, their friends, families, and the medical community. With your support, we aim to improve the quality of care for these patients, many of whom require lifelong expert care.
