Shriners Hospitals for Children — Boston is a highly specialized pediatric surgical care center located in the heart of the city. It is considered one of the world’s preeminent hospitals in the treatment of children with severe burn injuries, complex skin conditions, and cleft lip and palate. Affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital and verified by a joint program of the American Burn Association and the American College of Surgeons, Shriners Hospitals for Children — Boston meets all of the demanding standards for organizational structure, personnel qualifications, facilities resources and medical care services to ensure the best possible outcomes. The purpose of the Glioblastoma Research Organization is to provide financial support to doctors and researchers around the world, that are working on developing cutting-edge technologies and clinical trials through research, to increase the rate of survival in patients, and find a cure for this disease.

To make all who are touched by invasive lobular breast cancer (also referred to as invasive lobular carcinoma or “ILC”) aware of its unique characteristics and the critical need for more ILC research; to be the go-to source for information on ILC studies, clinical trials and educational tools; to foster partnerships among patients, scientists, clinicians, and breast cancer organizations to increase dialogue about ILC and research advocacy; and to fund vital ILC research. We envision a world in which lobular breast cancer is found early, treated effectively, and eradicated permanently.
