Chai Lifeline’s guiding principles are: That seriously ill children need and deserve as happy and normal a childhood as possible; That illness affects each member of the family; That the well-being of an ill child is impacted by the well-being of his or her family; That pediatric illness can have a devastating financial effect on families. With this in mind, Chai Lifeline strives to: Find ways to bring joy to the lives of our young patients and their families through creative, innovative, and effective family-focused programs, activities, and services; Engender hope and optimism in children, families, and communities; Educate and involve communities in caring for ill children and their families; Provide unparalleled support throughout the child’s illness, recovery and beyond; Build communities among children and families living with illness or loss that allow them to engage, strengthen, and encourage one another; Offer all services free of charge to ensure that every family has access to the programs it needs.

SJICC USA raises funds in North America in support of charities in India with an excellent record of governance, transparency and impact. These charities provide much needed care for sick needy children. SJICC USA can provide a tax-effective way for residents and taxpayers of the USA to make donations to fund grant applications submitted by charities in India that meet our goals. Our current focus is to fund St. Jude India ChildCare Centers in Mumbai, but we have the flexibility to support allied charities in India that have adopted a model similar to that of St. Judes (www.stjudechild.org).

Shriners Hospitals for Children — Boston is a highly specialized pediatric surgical care center located in the heart of the city. It is considered one of the world’s preeminent hospitals in the treatment of children with severe burn injuries, complex skin conditions, and cleft lip and palate. Affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital and verified by a joint program of the American Burn Association and the American College of Surgeons, Shriners Hospitals for Children — Boston meets all of the demanding standards for organizational structure, personnel qualifications, facilities resources and medical care services to ensure the best possible outcomes. Mobile Medics International is dedicated to providing free quality healthcare to those affected by disaster, humanitarian crisis and those that are chronically medically underserved around the world.

Our mission is to find a effective treatments and ultimately a cure for fragile X syndrome, the most common inherited cause of autism. We directly fund research grants and fellowships at top universities around the world. FRAXA was founded in 1994 by three parents of children with fragile X. Fragile X Syndrome is the most common inherited cause of autism and intellectual disabilities. It affects 1 in 4000 boys and 1 in 6000 girls worldwide, and one in 260 women and 1 in 800 men are carriers. Treatments for fragile X are likely to help people affected by related disorders including autism, Alzheimers, and many other brain disorders.

Through Health, Education, Aid and Leadership, HEAL Palestine is working to provide every young Palestinian in Gaza a chance for a brighter future.
