The Massachusetts Bicycle Coalition (MassBike) promotes a bicycle-friendly environment and encourages bicycling for fun, fitness and transportation.

The mission of the SFBC Education Fund is to provide education, training and services for San Francisco Bay Area residents who commute by bicycle or ride bicycles recreationally.

Our vision is to realize a future where all inhabitants of the Costa Rican coasts, human and sea turtle alike, can live together in balance; where healthy populations of sea turtles fulfill their ecological roles and economic potential; and critical natural habitats are sustainably managed. OUR MISSION: Uniting People with Opportunities. The United Planning Organization, the designated community action agency for Washington, DC, was established December 10, 1962 to plan, coordinate, and implement human services programs for low-income residents in the Nation's Capital. For over 50 years, UPO has been in the forefront of the war on poverty. As the catalyst for economic security and growth for all Washington, DC residents, UPO has laid the groundwork for innovative social service programs such as weatherization and energy conservation services, Head Start, workforce development training and youth development. Today, UPO continues to provide residents with comprehensive resources for early childhood education; youth development; employment and training; family and community services; case management and referrals to other supportive services.

Our vision is to create a society of people who work consciously towards the continued improvement of their environment, and the promotion of a green, clean and healthy Suriname. Green Heritage Fund Suriname moves all Surinamers to make wise decisions for the sustainable development of our natural resources.

To provide a rehabilitation centre for all indigenous avian species in Belize. To provide expert avain medical care for injured birds and sanctuary for non-releasable birds. To facilitate and support enforcement of the Wildlife Laws through the Belize Forest Department. To end the local trade in wild-caught parrots. To provide education programme for schools and other interested entities. To create public awareness of Belize's avian species and their importance to the GDP of the country through tourism. To provide resource and knowledge support to conservation organizations and facilitate overseas and in-house training for Belizean veterinarians and Belize Bird Rescue staff

The Advocacy Project - A Voice for the Voiceless The Advocacy Project (AP) helps marginalized communities around the world take action against the root causes of their disempowerment in a way that benefits society as a whole and produces social change. To do this, we partner with community-based advocates who represent these communities and share their problems. Our support for partners is innovative and effective. First, we deploy Peace Fellows (experienced graduate students) to help partners tell their story, launch campaigns, and strengthen their organization: we have deployed 274 Peace Fellows since 2003, and in the process given our Fellows a unique experience. Second, we help partners to raise funds and manage their campaigns: we have raised over $2.5 million for partners, and are currently seeking funds through Global Giving for exciting projects in Nepal, Vietnam and Uganda. Third, we promote the work of partners internationally, using new methods of story-telling such as advocacy quilting: over 300 women have produced embroidered panels for our quilts, which have been shown throughout North America and Europe. Our mission is to build strong communities in the US that foster pride in the Filipino-American identity, inspire civic action, cultivate the spirit of "Bayanihan" (caring and sharing), and act together to end poverty in the Philippines.

Vision: In America Solidaria, we envision a continent where all children and adolescents have what they need to grow, learn, and fulfill their potential. We see it as our shared responsibility as citizens of this region to make this vision a reality by mobilizing a network of highly skilled fellows. Mission: Mission America Solidaria promotes regional development throughout the Americas, strengthening local initiatives through year-long service projects in nonprofit organizations working to alleviate youth poverty through a focus on education, health, and/or economic empowerment. Our projects create lasting change by influencing public opinion and policy and helping shape future professionals, increasing the standard of living and supporting growth in the region.

ISCP's mission is: * As a means to move the container or concern and participation of the community to always love and protected wildlife. * Build an opinion and appropriate action will be handling as well as animal rescue or to explore the potential and depth of information to learn how to keep the animals and know the ins and outs of animal life. * Is a movement that aims to protect and rescue the animals, especially to the almost extinct wildlife.

The aim is to help the communauty to reunite after being torn apart due to the conflict. Moreover, the aim is to promote a reintegration based on sustainable, social and economical values. The Centro COMParte participates to the reintegration of a population in a post-conflict situation throughout education, culture and entrepeneurship. The Centro COMParte is open everyday for the children and give them a complementary to school : the mission is to give them an education around peace as they all come from families that directly lived the conflict. Furthermore, working with the adults allows to create nexus around the community and to make people know one another and work and learn together is the best way to connect and make peace. Finally, the Centro COMParte promote the recognition of the women work and fight against low incomes. Sembrando Confianza has developped a great network of local producers and allow them to be more sustainable and to learn how to product organically. The social market created by SC allow consumers to be more sensibilized with local and organic products.
