We are biologists, conservationists, hikers, bikers, equestrians, bird watchers, and people who just love to look at the mountain.

The John Fairey Garden Conservation Foundation - Established by John Fairey in 1971, The John Fairey Garden (formerly Peckerwood Garden) is an extraordinary preservation garden on 39 acres near Hempstead, Texas. The garden is widely acclaimed for the originality of its design, its education and conservation programs, and its exceptional collection of over 3,000 plants, including many endangered and rare plants from Mexico, North America, and Asia. Our mission is to preserve, share, and advance the horticultural and artistic legacy of John Fairey.

TennGreen Land Conservancy (formerly the Tennessee Parks & Greenways Foundation) is an accomplished, 501(c)(3) nonprofit land trust dedicated to protecting Tennessee’s natural treasures. Founded in 1998, we are the oldest accredited, statewide land trust in Tennessee. We serve all Tennesseans, and through collaboration with members, private landowners, local municipalities, and state and federal agencies, we work to create parks, establish wildlife corridors, expand existing protected public lands, and enhance public recreation opportunities. We believe that we must do more to protect our natural world so that future generations can enjoy the ecologically-rich, beautiful, and historically-significant treasures that make Tennessee unique.

The Montgomery Parks Foundation champions Montgomery County Parks cultivating financial support and public engagement of county residents and businesses as members, donors, sponsors and advocates. We will inspire charitable giving and cultivate and solicit private donations at all levels to support programs and projects that preserve and enhance Montgomery Parks. We will encourage public support and activism on behalf of our parks and believe such involvement strengthens our community and fosters positive public policy in the best interests of our award-winning park system. We will protect donor privacy, abide by the Donor Bill of Rights and report openly and accurately regarding all Foundation activities, accepting fully our responsibility to serve the public good and meet our obligations. We will strive to reflect our broad-based community in board membership and staffing and the selection of programs and projects the Foundation supports while respecting all donors and supporters equally. We will establish and sustain trusting and supportive relationships with Montgomery Parks and throughout the community, reinforcing the importance of mutual respect in an effort to attain mutually beneficial results. We will conduct all business with the highest professional, moral and ethical standards and report honestly about our operations and finances. The Freshwater Trust protects and restores freshwater ecosystems. Founded in 1983, The Freshwater Trust accelerates the pace and scale of freshwater restoration through the use of science, technology and incentive-based solutions to restore rivers on a timeline that matters. With headquarters in Portland, Oregon, The Freshwater Trust continues to grow its impact and currently works in Oregon, Idaho and California. In 2013, the Trust received the U.S. Water Prize for its innovative solutions to restore rivers and streams in the Pacific Northwest.

Founded in 1973, the Oregon League of Conservation Voters (OLCV) believes that the best way to protect our natural legacy is to elect candidates to state and local offices who make protecting Oregon's natural legacy a priority. During legislative sessions, we are in the state Capitol every day, working to pass pro-environment bills and stopping rollbacks of existing environmental protections. Additionally, we hold our elected officials accountable for how they vote on the environment by publishing a Scorecard on the Oregon Legislature after every session.
