The Ecology Center models creative solutions for thriving on planet Earth. Our mission is to educate, inspire and empower people in the stewardship of ecological design and sustainability in the core areas of Grow, Eat, and Make. We aim to model solutions that will be replicated based on the core belief that we are all part of nature, intimately interconnected to each other and our shared environment, and that together, we can create a healthy, abundant future.

We empower people, organizations and communities statewide to create a zero waste lifestyle by building successful models and practices that promote reuse, recycling and resource conservation.

Earth Law Center works to transform the law to recognize and protect nature’s inherent rights to exist, thrive and evolve. We do this by building a force of advocates for nature's rights at local and international levels. Our initiatives aim to secure legal rights for rivers, oceans, coastal and land ecosystems.

350 Sacramento is an organization that supports local initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and works to engage with Sacramento area citizens and local community groups to help build a global climate movement.

Founded by two fifteen year olds, they believe that the environment needs help protecting it. At Our Planet our mission is to provide youth volunteer experiences that implement effective environmentally sustainable initiatives.

Tuleyome was founded in 2002 as a volunteer advocacy-oriented nonprofit conservation organization. Our mission statement reads: “Tuleyome engages in advocacy and active stewardship with diverse communities to conserve, enhance, restore, and enjoy the lands in the region.”

Bushlife Conservancy is dedicated to protecting and preserving African wildlife in its native habitat. The most important work we do is anti-poaching and conservation in Mana Pools National Park, which is a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site, and the Zambezi River Valley of Zimbabwe and Zambia. We also monitor and track iconic bull elephants, develop infrastructure to establish ongoing ranger presence in vulnerable areas, and provide funding to support local community health and welfare needs.

C-WIN is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to equitable and sustainable use of California's water resources. Both our Board and Staff members provide the environmental community support and leadership on enforcement of the state's Bay-Delta public trust responsibility, on stopping irrigation of naturally contaminated farm lands in the San Joaquin Valley, and on the speculative water practices of federal and state water projects in California. We educate the public about public trust resource and California's constitutional prohibition of waste and unreasonable use of water, and about alternatives that restore rivers, fisheries, and other public trust resources.

Our mission is to reduce the amount of material sent to landfill through early student engagement.
