Founded in 2001, Action for Cheetahs in Kenya has helped stabilize endangered cheetah populations in East Africa through research, education, and community development. Our mission is to promote the conservation of cheetahs and improve livelihoods of people impacted by carnivores. We are the only cheetah conservation organization focused on conserving cheetah populations outside the bounds of national parks and protected areas. We function as a project under the US-based non-profit organization, Project Survival.

The Homeless Garden Project provides job training, transitional employment and support services to people who are homeless. HGP's vibrant education and volunteer program for the broad community blends formal, experiential and service-learning. The programs take place in our 3-acre organic farm and related enterprises. Our Mission: In the soil of our urban farm and garden, people find the tools they need to build a home in the world. An activist for more than two decades, Van has fought for social, economic, racial and environmental justice all over the world. Under Van's leadership, Dream Corps incubates the following programs: Close the Prison Doors: #cut50 works to popularize bipartisan alternatives and practical solutions to help America safely and smartly reduce its jail and prison populations by 50 percent over the next 10 years. Open the Doors of Opportunity: #YesWeCode is a national initiative to help train 100,000 low-opportunity youth to become high-level computer coders. We sponsor youth hackathons, support existing coding education programs, and partner with tech companies, media and other high-profile partners committed to increasing diversity in tech. Into a New Economy Green for All works to build an inclusive green economy strong enough to lift people out of poverty.

The mission of The Clarendon Hills Park Foundation is to enhance the quality of life in our community by seeking grants and donations to be used to enhance our Parks and open spaces throughout our Village. We have no paid staff nor do we receive any tax funding. All members of the foundation are volunteers who donate their time in support of our mission.

The Environmental Working Group’s mission is to empower people to live healthier lives in a healthier environment. With breakthrough research and education, we drive consumer choice and civic action.

As stewards, Taliesin Preservation's dual mission is to preserve the cultural, built and natural environments that comprise the Taliesin property and to conduct public educational and cultural programming that provides a greater understanding of Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture and ideas.

WeTap improves awareness, access and use of public drinking fountains, reducing dependence on single-use plastic, while improving public health.

We preserve the environment by partnering with families to improve wellbeing through sustainable farming.

Meeker Memorial Hospital Foundation (MMHF) is organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes. More specifically, the Foundation's primary role is to secure philanthropic resources to help maintain, improve and expand health care services for our patients, their families, and the Meeker County community.

Lancaster Farmland Trust's mission is to preserve and steward the beautiful, productive farmland of Lancaster County that reflects our heritage, supports our economy, protects our environment, nourishes our health and enhances our quality of life.

We are working to preserve local land through conservation easements and land acquisition to develop greenways and safe places to walk, including those for Saluda School children and recreational walkers.
