With the aid of advanced hearing technology and committed families involved in specialized programs provided by Listen and Talk, almost all children with hearing loss can learn to listen and use spoken language, allowing them to fully participate in a hearing world. Listen and Talk achieves these remarkable results by combining proven auditory-based educational methods with the use of advanced hearing technology including: digital/programmable hearing aids, cochlear implants, personal FM systems, and sound field systems for classrooms. For optimal success, we strive to apply our teaching methods to children in infancy-as soon as they are identified with hearing loss. Children's success at school should not be limited by their socio-economic background. We want all children to be able to choose their own future and we believe in a world where everyone, regardless of background, has access to an equal school. If we give all children equal opportunities to succeed in the classroom, we can build a strong democratic society in the future, where diversity, knowledge and creativity, characterised by strong leadership, drive Sweden forward. Through good leadership in the classroom, and with the conviction that all children are capable, we work for an equal school. This requires teachers who lead, and who help students reach their full potential.
Fundacion Ensena Chile's mission is to create a diverse network of leaders with the necessary conviction and perspective to impact the educational system, first from inside the classroom and then from different sectors of the system. Overall, Fundacion Ensena Chile is dedicated to transforming education in Chile by investing in talented teachers, promoting educational equity, and driving systemic change to ensure that all students have access to a high-quality education. Ensena Chile aims to fight for equal learning opportunities for all students, regardless of their socio-economic background. For the past 15 years, we have been training and supporting professionals and practicing teachers, impacting the comprehensive development of +240,000 students throughout the country. Our flagship program selects and trains exceptional university graduates and professionals from various fields to become teachers in low-income schools. These individuals undergo an intensive training program to develop their teaching skills and receive ongoing support and mentoring throughout their two-year commitment in the program. The goal is to create a pipeline of talented educators who can make a difference in underserved communities and contribute to educational improvement nationwide. Ensena Chile also works to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among educators by creating networks and platforms for teachers to exchange ideas, strategies, and best practices. We believe in the power of collective learning and seek to build a community of teachers who can learn from one another and continuously improve their teaching methods. Since 2017, our initiative (Learning Schools) emerged to share good practices and learnings, so that school administrators and management teams can enhance collective leadership for the creation of communities with a learning culture. We are convinced that students will learn more and better if they have teachers, management teams, and families who also learn every day. Lastly, during the pandemic, we determined to support communities that lacked internet access. This gave rise to , a project that aims to use technology as a tool to share these learnings with more communities and be a source of innovation for them, in pursuit of our students' learning and development.
