The mission of Communities In Schools Dallas Region is to help students at risk of failure stay in school, achieve academically and graduate, to become productive and contributing members of our communities. CISDR works right on the school campus every day, all day, one on one with struggling students to stay in school and succeed.  CISDR connects these students and families to community resources/services through its strong partnerships with school districts, educators, corporations, institutions of higher learning, government agencies, faith based and community organizations.

Communities In Schools Pittsburgh-Allegheny County (CISPAC) is an affiliate of the nation's largest stay-in-school network. Nationally, Communities In Schools (CIS) is the nation's leading dropout prevention organization, and the only one proven to both decrease dropout rates and increase graduation rates. CIS emphasizes 5 Basics. We believe that every child needs and deserves: 1. A personal one-on-one relationship with a caring adult 2. A safe place to learn and grow 3. A healthy start and a healthy future 4. A marketable skill to use upon graduation 5. A chance to give back to peers and the community

Enhance Worldwide envisions communities where girls and women have the skills to lead meaningful, dignified lives in which each individual has agency, autonomy and aspirations. Enhance Worldwide aims to facilitate a process in which girls, women and their communities unearth, discover and learn strategies to navigate the challenges to their wellbeing in an effort to develop as individuals in their own right. Enhance Worldwide understands harmful traditional practices as a leading barrier to a life of dignity and focuses its efforts on combating these practices worldwide. Enhance Worldwide creates customized interventions in collaboration with local people, with an emphasis on the leadership of women and girls, who understand the challenges and opportunities as part of their lived experience. The intervention design is focused on Positive Deviance, the concept that in every community there are positive deviants, individuals whose behaviors and strategies have allowed them to overcome the challenges to their wellbeing with which their peers struggle. By discovering and practicing these positive deviant behaviors, Enhance Worldwide focuses on existing, indigenous solutions.

We envision a world where important stories are told by the communities who know them best in order to inform laws, systems and policies that promote justice and equality for all. To make that vision a reality, p.h. balanced films supports women working toward social justice and policy change through multi-day knowledge exchange sessions on the use of film and storytelling for advocacy purposes and a mentorship program to provide ongoing, global support of their efforts.

Raising Expectations empowers youth in crises by elevating academic, social, and civic expectations to facilitate high school graduation and post-secondary plans.

Our mission is to improve the health of homeless animals and increase their chances for survival and adoption. Our ultimate aim is to eliminate animal homelessness and euthanasia. This promotes more humane treatment of animals, increasing their chances of survival and adoption. We:• Provide donated comfort and care items to shelters, rescue groups, pets of the homeless, pets of low-income seniors, pets of veterans, animal transports, fosters and wildlife sanctuaries.• Advocate for animal welfare through service-oriented humane education & public awareness anti-cruelty campaigns.• Raise awareness of the growing population of homeless animals being euthanized in overcrowded shelter systems, promoting adoption as the best option.

The School of Leadership, Afghanistan (SOLA) is an Afghan-led private boarding school for Afghan girls, the first of its kind in Afghanistan. SOLA's mission is to provide Afghan girls a rigorous education that promotes critical thinking, a sense of purpose, and respect for self and others.

Appraisers are among the often-forgotten groups—expected to follow complex, evolving standards while managing challenges from automated systems and shifting industry practices that can undermine their role. Our goal is to provide resources to help appraisers stay resilient, maintain public trust, and uphold professional standards. We stand with all often-forgotten groups, including Poor People, Veterans, Farmers, Rural Communities, Urban Communities, Heirs Property owners, and Appraisers. These groups are often overlooked within the systems that govern property valuation and land use. This fundraiser aims to support the modernization of the appraisal process, improve professional resources for appraisers, and advance data-driven valuation techniques. Your support will also fund educational programs and scholarships for aspiring appraisers, preparing them to meet the demands of modern appraisal work. The Kreisau-Initiative e.V. was founded 1989 to address the need for international understanding, democratic education, and active engagement in human rights, particularly in response to Europe's history of division, conflict, and authoritarianism. The Kreisau-Initiative is committed to promoting democracy, human rights, social inclusion, and sustainability through international educational programs and cross-cultural dialogue. Rooted in the legacy of the Kreisau Circle, a German resistance group against Nazism, its mission is to empower individuals - especially young people - to actively shape just, inclusive, and democratic societies. At its core, the Kreisau-Initiative responds to persistent social challenges such as discrimination, social exclusion, extremism, and a lack of opportunities for youth participation in shaping democratic, inclusive societies. Recognizing that many young people - especially those from marginalized backgrounds - face barriers to education, empowerment, and cross-cultural exchange, the organization promotes non-formal education as a tool for social change. Today, the need for fostering social cohesion, gender equality, human rights awareness, and sustainability remains as urgent as ever. The Kreisau-Initiative continues to address these challenges by creating spaces for learning, dialogue, and action, empowering individuals to become active, responsible members of a democratic and diverse Europe.
