Zawadi Fund International supports the initiatives of the Children and Youth Empowerment Centre, Nyeri, Kenya. In collaboration with the CYEC, we seek to develop effective and sustainable solutions for the street-dwelling children, including education and enterprise development, to enable these young people to lead fulfilling lives.

Our commitment: IntraHealth is a global champion for health workers. We have pledged to double our impact between 2011 and 2015 to ensure that more health workers are present, ready, connected, and safe. Mission: IntraHealth empowers health workers to better serve communities in need around the world. We foster local solutions to health care challenges by improving health worker performance, strengthening health systems, harnessing technology, and leveraging partnerships. We aspire to achieve this vision by being a global champion for health workers.

Mission:1) To raise money to purchase malaria nets for needy Africans to protect them from sickness and death. When children are not sick with malaria, they can attend more days of school. Parents have more time to work, and they spend less of their small income on malaria medication. 2) To ensure the nets are used correctly volunteers educate the bednet recipients about malaria, the benefits of bednets, and how to use nets. 3) To educate U.S. students about the burden of malaria in the world.

Transform the future of Guatemalan youth who have few opportunities so they can reach their academic, personal, and professional potential, and thereby generate change in themselves and their community.

Friends of African Village Libraries is committed to long-term management of and support for small community libraries in rural Africa. Our goal is to establish long-term relationships with community libraries, rather than provide an initial donation and move on to another village. We believe that every child and adult should have the opportunity to pick up a book and read, so we are dedicated to increasing access to reading material and other information in rural villages in sub-Saharan Africa.

Children & Charity International mission is to "embrace humanity" by utilizing God given talents and resources to promote educational advancement and development; provide charitable and humanitarian aid, and 'Make a Difference' in the lives of poor and underrepresented people. As a mentoring organization we utilize charity and education to teach and empower people to take responsibility for their lives. We accomplish our mission partnering with churches, leaders, groups and organizations.

Youth Journalism International connects teen writers, artists and photographers with peers around the globe, teaches journalism, fosters cross-cultural understanding, and promotes and defends a free youth press.

PlanetRead is a registered not for profit with the simple vision of a reading planet - a planet where everyone can read and has access to interesting and affordable reading opportunities in native and other language(s). We contribute to literacy worldwide by innovating and implementing simple, scalable, and cost-effective solutions, especially using mass media and information technologies.

CBNO is a multi-racial, multi-generational community organization, a catalyst and convener, working to bring all voices to the table to address systemic issues that will help to build a better quality of life for all New Orleanians. CBNO/MAC will accomplish its mission by providing and maintaining an advocacy role that encourages the kinds of partnership, collaboration and candid conversation that reflect the interests of the citizens of New Orleans.
