The purpose of the activities of the foundation Zdrowi My - We Give a Hand is to bring help to orphaned children and animals in Uganda as well as to promote the values shared by their founders who out of love and respect feel ready to support people and animals that went through tough moments during their lifertime. Our ultimate mission is to assist orphans from Ruhija in Uganda and protect anthropoid apes from extinction. Good governance ensures accountability, fairness, and transparency throughout our social, governmental, and business systems. On the African continent, women are underrepresented at every level in the workplace, especially in senior leadership roles. According to the UN, this type of unequal treatment of women in the workplace has cost Sub-Saharan Africa approximately $105bn and has significant implications on the utilization of the continents full human capital potential and achievement of its development goals. The Boardroom Africa was borne out of these realities. We champion female leadership on a pan-African level by building a network of women leaders who collectively dispel the myth that there aren't enough qualified women to support the growth of the continent. We help build role models at the top to change the way organizations are led through our educational content. We offer a board training program for women across the continent and to date, we've trained 64+ women. We also have built a community of over 1,000 women on the continent leading change and deliver open webinars, trainings, and meetups to upskill this network. Finally, we've conducted publicly released research on 13 African countries to assess the gender gap in their companies. We want to shift the demand by ensuring society realizes the benefits of increased female participation in leadership, and create an ecosystem of women who can go into the world and inspire others.

he World Federation of the Deaf (WFD) is an international non-governmental organisation representing and promoting approximately 70 million deaf people's human rights worldwide. The WFD is a federation of deaf organisations from 134 nations; its mission is to promote the human rights of deaf people and full, quality and equal access to all spheres of life, including self-determination, sign language, education, employment and community life. WFD has a consultative status in the United Nations and is a founding member of International Disability Alliance (IDA). At its recent World Congress in Jeju, South Korea, WFD members (136) approved the WFD strategic direction 2023-2030 and Action Plan 2023-2027. Important themes are covered in these 2 documents which strive to ensure that we create access for all deaf people to all ways of life in "a world where deaf people everywhere can sign anywhere" (vision). Furthermore, our mission is to work towards the full realisation of linguistic rights and human rights in all areas of life, with full recognition and implementation of these rights across local, national and international levels. To realise our mission and vision, the following are part of our Action Plan 2023-2027: Building Capacity across the Globe: ensuring increased participation of women, youth and underrepresented communities; provide effective capacity building projects to countries who are not yet members to assist them with creating their own national deaf associations so that they can represent themselves in their countries; Putting Deaf people on the Agenda: the WFD will continue to strive to put deaf human rights at the forefront of all representation internationally, including at the UN; we will effectively promote International Week of Deaf people and be ready to response to deaf people's needs in times of crises, disasters and war. Realising nothing about us without us: the WFD continues to be the leading authority for deaf people and sign languages and has committed to developing resources to assist deaf people raise awareness in their countries. Achieving Sign Language Rights for all: National sign languages are fundamental to achieving deaf people's human rights. We will aim to assist our member states in promoting the legal recognition of signed language in the country and advocate for early childhood language acquisition and inclusive multilingual education policies. Investing in a strong and sustainable organisation: to carry out our mission and vision we need greater investment in our secretariat and regional secretariat, expand our donor base, increase visibility and fundraising activities so that our organisation can carry on its important global work.

New Talent for the best future, a youth refugee led organization based and implementing its activities in Nakivale Refugee Settlement Uganda. Our mission is to raise marginalized children and youths' talents through education, sport, art and social skills. We strongly believe in the potentials, talents, energy that children and youths carry with themselves regardless of their origins, backgrounds or lifestyles. Supporting children and youths so that they can be able to improve their life through their potential, and participate in their community development. We aim at developing a model that tackles challenges of the education and replicate it in different refugee settlement and beyond to make learning accessible for every disadvantaged child in Africa while actively engaging schools, families and communities to get involved in driving innovative solutions that make the world a better place for everyone.

To promote empowerment programs for better Health, Education and Livelihoods for disadvantaged populations. ................................................................................................... Here are some key areas where we seek partnership and support: 1. Education for Needy Children: We run programs that provide access to quality education for underprivileged children, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to thrive in their academic pursuits. We provide fees, scholastic materials, uniforms and shoes to the disadvantaged children. We plan to fundraise, get fees and educational materials for needy children dropping out of school over poverty and abandonment. We plan to purchase land for the construction of a primary school for these children. 2. Women and Youth Empowerment: Our organization offers empowerment workshops, financial literacy trainings, and support services to help women and youth in marginalized communities achieve economic independence and self-sustainability. We are planning to establish a vocational training school for children who complete senior four and senior six and are unable to continue with the education over finances. We also plan to scale up our financial literacy training programs and train women in vegetable growing. 3. Environmental Conservation: We are actively involved in conservation efforts, including tree planting, waste management, and sustainable agriculture practices to preserve and protect our environment for future generations. Uganda was named the Pearl of Africa because of the beautiful scenery and climate but the forests and vegetation cover have reduced due to environmental degradation and the temperatures are now raising. We plan to establish nursery beds and plant one million trees in the eight districts of Rwenzori Western Uganda. We are doing this under our Greening Uganda Schools and communities Project. 4. Human Rights Advocacy: PLATFORM for the NEEDY advocates for the rights of vulnerable populations, including refugees, internally displaced persons, and marginalized groups, to ensure their voices are heard and respected. We plan to advance our advocacy to the deeper rural populations and refugees and take there our outreach counselling and training conferences and educate them with live drama episodes. 5. Maternal Health Initiatives: We have ongoing programs focused on improving maternal health outcomes through access to healthcare services, prenatal care, and maternal education. We intend to fundraise for the stunting children in Rwenzori region .Under this project we shall create more awareness using radio drama, social media, TVs, trainings and conferences for local leaders and health workers at all level, establish demonstration vegetable gardens at every household and every school and school debating competitions. We believe that by joining forces with Global Giving that offers visibility and connectivity to organizations with different partners and donors, we can leverage our collective strengths to create a more sustainable and equitable future for communities in Uganda and beyond.
