Our mission is to eliminate persistent poverty in the Bay Area by working with partners to transform low-income neighborhoods into vibrant, healthy communities.

COLAGE unites people with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and/or queer parents into a network of peers and supports them as they nurture and empower each other to be skilled, self-confident, and just leaders in our collective communities.

We enable children and youth in the community, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, healthy, and responsible citizens.

Established in 1987, WEDC's mission is to facilitate community empowerment and nurture indigenous leadership, promote the development of affordable housing, create entrepeneurral opportunity for small and minority businesses while building the community one block at a time.

Boston GLOW fosters opportunities for women and girls of all ages to become empowered community leaders and active world citizens.

The School for Advanced Research has supported innovative social science research and Native American artistic creativity for more than a century. Since we began offering fellowships in 1972, we have funded the work of more than 345 SAR scholars and artists, among whose ranks are six MacArthur Fellows and eighteen Guggenheim Fellows.

To participate with the body of Christ in responsible evangelism, to bring dignity, self-worth and encouragement through leadership development and to meet the physical needs of people through humanitarian assistance.
