Inter Pares is a Canadian organization dedicated to promoting international social justice. In Canada and overseas it works to build understanding about the causes and effects of poverty and injustice, and the need for social change. Inter Pares accompanies communities in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Canada to create sustainable livelihoods and healthy futures, including humanitarian assistance and human rights protection for people caught up in civil violence. It supports people’s struggles for self-determination and their efforts to challenge structural obstacles to change, accompanying people in their efforts to hold their governments accountable and to promote democratic social and economic policies. Through advocacy and coalition-building, Inter Pares also links social action at home with social change work abroad, promoting relationships of mutual support among activists around the globe. JMJ CHILDREN'S FUND OF CANADA

JMJ Children's Fund is supporting children in schools in Ghana, India and Malawi. We are also helping to provide food for children in a Remand Home in Nigeria, with its attached orphanage. JMJ has been supporting a program called Youth Alive which teaches young people in Malawi how to fight AIDS.

CAMP KEE-MO-KEE

Camp Kee-Mo-Kee is a residential summer camp owned and operated by the United Church of Canada. Kee-Mo-Kee is located just minutes outside of London, Ontario, nestled in a beautiful wooded area with extensive hiking trails and nearby streams. On site are 9 cabins, a craft lodge, dining hall, swimming pool, chapel, and a variety of sports facilities. The camp program provides creative and exciting challenges in a Christian atmosphere. A variety of music, crafts, sports and outdoor activities are incorporated in every week. There are all-camp events, cabin activities, special meals, and theme days.

The Alzheimer Society Sarnia-Lambton offers education, caregiver respite, support services & resource materials to people with Alzheimer's disease or releated dementias, family members, caregivers and service providers. Currently, there are over 2,500 people in Lambton County with dementia. This number is expected to triple in the next 25 years.

Lanark County Interval House & Community Support

Lanark County Interval House is a shelter and support network for women and their children who have experienced abuse. We work with women & children across Lanark County Ontario including the towns of Carleton Place, Smiths Falls, Perth, Almonte and all of the rural areas in between. Our emergency shelter accommodates 15 women and children at one time. Here we provide a 24-hr help/crisis line, safety, counselling for both women and children and advocacy to help women navigate systems on her journey to a successful violent-free life. Our Outreach programs provide counselling, advocacy and diverse support groups for women and children affected by abuse and sexual violence. Our public education program provides workshops, presentations, and resources to our communities and schools about violence against women, healthy relationships, and gender roles and stereotypes. We work towards ending the cycle of violence against women and children.
