The Canadian Occupational Therapy Foundation became a reality on May 17, 1983. The first Board of Governors consisted of three prominent Occupational Therapists: Karen Goldenberg, President; Dr. Thelma Cardwell, Vice President and Dr. Isobel Robinson, Secretary / Treasurer. The purpose of COTF has always been to support research and scholarship in the field of occupational therapy. The Foundation’s focus has been on generating, receiving and maintaining funds and developing mechanisms for granting awards to individuals and organizations for research and scholarships. From 1983 to 1995, COTF and CAOT shared office space in Toronto. When CAOT relocated to Ottawa in 1995, COTF remained in Toronto. A decision was made in 2002 for the Foundation to once again share office space with CAOT in order to foster a synergistic relationship which would benefit the entire occupational therapy community. Since 2004, COTF and CAOT share office space in Ottawa.

A Canadian NGO with over 50 years of experience, CODE advances literacy and learning in Canada and around the world. With the generous support of its donors, CODE builds literacy by providing schools and community libraries in developing countries with well-written books that children can relate to, and teachers with the skills they need to bring these books to life.

Founded in 1969, The Society Promoting Environmental Conservation (SPEC) is a non-profit charitable organization that addresses environmental issues in British Columbia, with a particular focus on urban communities in Lower Mainland and the Georgia Basin. SPEC is a member-based society with an elected Board of Directors and a dedicated team of staff and volunteers. The Directors, members, staff and volunteers actively participate in SPEC’s on-going environmental projects.

Since Carousel Players began in 1972, over 2.7 million students, teachers and families have seen our productions. We regularly perform in schools across Ontario, and frequently tour to theatres in London and Toronto. Our award-winning plays have toured as far away as England and Japan. Carousel Players operates out of the historic Courthouse in downtown St. Catharines. We also present public performances for Niagara families in the Sullivan Mahoney Courthouse Theatre at 101 King Street. Our facility is actively used by local theatre, dance and music organizations from the Niagara region. Carousel Players was founded by Desmond Davis, a Professor of Drama at Brock University to serve youth in Niagara. Other artistic leaders of the company include Duncan McGregor, Pierre Tetrault, Kim Selody and Pablo Felices-Luna, our current artistic director.

The Cataraqui Region Conservation Foundation raises funds to assist with the Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority's conservation education and land acquisition programs. The Foundation has been the CRCA's fundraising arm for more than 40 years. The Foundation is a registered charitable organization with a formally-constituted board of directors and organization by-laws. The board elects its officers and maintains its records at the CRCA Administration Office in Kingston, Ontario. In 1994, the Foundation became a membership-based organization. Persons interested in the aims of the Foundation can make contributions to specific projects (for example, Partners-in-Education) and may purchase a tax-receiptable annual membership. CAUSE Canada is an international relief and development agency working in West Africa and Central America. Consequently, CAUSE Canada plans, organizes, fundraises for, implements, and evaluates international development programs, in close long-term partnership with communities, that focus on the strengths people and communities already posses and assisting them to utilize those assets to become what they want to become. The Institute's work is made possible by its members and friends, whose fees and donations underwrite its efforts. Members represent the "who's who" of the public, private and university sectors.

Our present facility was purchased with Rev. Sue Rubin who served as spiritual director from 1985 to 1995. From 1996 to 2001 Rev Kaye Patrick served. Rev. Patrick Cameron our current spiritual director has been visioning and growing our community since 2002. We continue to grow as a strong and vibrant spiritual community. We offer a practical spiritual teaching that draws on the wisdom of the ages and New Thought principles, in order to promote awakening and personal growth. With a variety of services available, Centre for Spiritual Living- Edmonton meets the needs of families, singles, children, adults, and seniors. The Child Development Centre of Prince George and District (CDC) has been helping the region’s children develop to their potential for over 40 years. We are one of the largest and longest serving non-profit child health and development agencies in British Columbia. From our humble beginnings, serving 5 children in a rented portable back in 1968, the Centre now annually assists over 1000 children and their families. We provide services in Prince George, Mackenzie, McBride, Valemount, and surrounding areas. We offer physical, occupational and speech/language therapy, as well as supported child development, family support, preschool, daycare, and adapted programming. Our Centre is also accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), providing an assurance that we operate in an effective, efficient, and family-focused manner.

Change for Children partners with communities in Latin America and Africa who are struggling against poverty and injustice to improve access to basic needs, healthcare and education. Our development projects, their cost and priority, are determined by our Southern partners according to the current needs of their communities. Change for Children is about social change. Our commitment is to Self Determination, Equality, Local Ownership, Responsibility, Solidarity, and the Future. With your help Change for Children supports initiatives in areas of: Basic Human Needs, Health & Nutrition, HIV/AIDS Prevention & Treatment, Education, Sustainable Agriculture, Indigenous Peoples' Cultural & Environmental Preservation, Child Protection, Human Rights, Democracy & Good Governance Promotion, Capacity Development & Income Generation for Women.
